Democrats bring new voters into the fold

New York (CNN) – Another campaign baby.

Andrei Cherny joined John Boccieri in scoring a major victory even before the votes were counted on Tuesday. The two Democrats' wives each gave birth to baby girls in the closing days of the midterm elections.

Boccieri, an Ohio congressman running for re-election, bolted from a Sunday rally headlined by former President Clinton when he learned that his wife had gone into labor. Emma Nancy was born that evening.

Cherny, who is running for Arizona treasurer, sent an email early Tuesday morning announcing that his wife had given birth to daughter Belle on the eve of the election.

"Whatever else happens today, I have already won," Cherny wrote.

Clinton, joking at the Boccieri rally this weekend, said that he wanted to make sure the baby voted in Tuesday's election.

"We got another Democrat, I wish we could register that baby before it's too late," Clinton said.

In 2008, Obama and the Democrats totally misread their election win – voters wanted "change" in Washington, not a fundamental change to our republic. So today, November 2nd, 2010, voters across this nation will reject the Socialist agenda of Obama, Pelosi and Reid, and we will vote overwhelmingly for Republicans. And then, "hope" will return from coast to coast.

Babies can't vote.... misleading/dishonest headline (even if it was trying to be cute).

If the Republicans win you will see Social Security being privatized, your kids will not stay on your parent insurance until 26, health care will be rolled back, college tuition will be cut and last the retirement age will be incresed. So Please vote Democrat and don't trust the Tparty.

  8. Vote for Angle

It should be illegal for a sitting president to use taxpayer dollars to campaign for a political party. President Obama also shouldn't be paid while he wastes time playing partisan politics. The man has become a joke.

People need to demand to know who the Republicans "secret" donors are contributing to their campaign. Are these companies we tax payers bailed out; remember a lot of the companies that received bailout money were holding onto it by not hiring or stimulating the economy, but now we have secret donors. I am very suspious about AIG who just before election paid back $37 billion out of the $180 billion and you should be also. Wakeup out there people and don't vote Republican until you have answers of how your bailout money is spent.
