(CNN) - Republican Dan Coats has defeated Democratic Rep. Brad Ellsworth to win Indiana's Senate race, CNN projects. Democratic Sen. Evan Bayh is retiring.
Bayh got his millions from his wife's health care job. Caring about Indiana isn't something he knows.
Coats is just another lobbyist. Since the Indiana legislature is solely a stepping stone for a big paying lobbyist spot in Indiana, just another bought and sold politician.
Not the brightest in this state by a long shot.
Brad Ellsworth used to be the visiting school "officer friendly," part of the DARE program if I recall correctly. I must have been... 9? Ish?
Got elected, but not with my vote. When the smoke clears, and sanity sets in, I'll be glad I was not fooled like the mindless that did vote for him.
I don't know why my fellow Hoosiers can't see Coats for what he is.... a man in the job for the money. He's not in the job for us. When we our state learn that the Hoosier Republicans don't have our best interests in mind and heart. One day maybe, one day.
Dan Coats will be a good senator for our state. I'm proud to say I voted for him. Though I really wish good ole Evan Bayh had had the balls to run one more time so that he would have actually gotten defeated. Instead he took the easier path: retiring.
