Las Vegas (CNN) - Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid swung by one of his campaign offices in the Summerlin area to greet about a dozen volunteers and strike a cautious tone this Election Day.
In a short media availability, Reid was asked if he is bracing for a small margin or decisive victory.
"I am waiting to see what happens. I am not much for predicting things...we will wait and see what happens. We feel comfortable where we are. And we have a good get out the vote operation. We will just have to wait and see what happens," Reid said.
Asked if he is confident in victory Reid said he thinks he will be able to pull it out.
"We have done extremely well in the early voting" and said with the good get out the vote operation "we are going to be in good shape."
Then he went on to criticize his opponent for being extreme in her beliefs and said the voters are facing a "clear choice."
Former state assemblywoman and Republican Senate candidate, Sharron Angle, was scheduled to vote Tuesday morning in Nevada and talk to reporters afterwards.
Political analysts closely watching the Senate race in Nevada indicate that turnout is key (LINK TO Bohn story overnight). Democratic turnout in Reid stronghold Clark County is critical for the Majority Leader holding onto office. And the voter participation in Washoe County in Northern Nevada is key for an Angle victory.
Senior Democrats tell CNN their analysis of early voting shows no advantage for Republicans, especially as compared to turnout in past midterm elections. Democrats insist their overnight tracking has Reid up. But Angle aides maintain she is polling far ahead among independents and running ahead of Reid with those most likely to vote today.

Look who is talking about Angle being too extreme. Mr. Reid should look at himself first before he makes such ludicrous comments. He has not done anything for Nevadians and the unemployment rate is much higher than most of the other states. Also, foreclosures are even worse. In 2008, Obama and the Democrats totally misread their election win – voters wanted "change" in Washington, not a fundamental change to our republic. So today, November 2nd, 2010, voters across this nation will reject the Socialist agenda of Obama, Pelosi and Reid, and we will vote overwhelmingly for Republicans. And then, "hope" will return from coast to coast.

He can sound pretty optimistic, he has a lot of union members votinig multiple times for him, the voting machines have been rigged by the SEIU for him, he is giving away gift cards to people who vote for him and there are several ballot boxes in the trunks of Chevy Impalas just waiting for the recount (like Al Franken and his corrupt union supporters did in Minnesota).
Angle is, quite simply, a nut case. God help the US if people with her manic ideas are running things.
While I may not be a Harry Reid fan, I cannot fathome why anyone would want to elect Angle. She is a complete psychopath.
