Republican Sen. candidate concedes in Washington

(CNN) - Washington Democratic Sen. Patty Murray will serve a fourth term in the Senate after challenger Dino Rossi conceded Thursday, two days after Election Day.

Murray held a 2 point lead with 82 percent of the vote counted Thursday night.

"This evening, I called Sen. Murray to offer my congratulations on her re-election to the U.S. Senate," Rossi said in a statement.

If at first you don't succeed (or the 2nd or 3rd time), try, try, try, try, and try again, Dino. Hope you get a real job some day.

Yes! One less seat for republicans to use to continue the destruction they started 2 years ago.So this makes Dino Rossi a 4 time looser now?

no surprise here... wash has always been liberal in the high population... and whacko... as long as a state does not require the feds to bail them out – or get any pork – then i don't really care what they vote for within their borders.

Dino Rossi overwhelmingly defeated Patty Murray in 100% of the Voting Precincts East of the Cascade Mountain Range. Now that's downright impressive. Murray won the election based on population density in King County (the Seattle area), which is heavily infiltrated by liberals/progressives, and feminists. Don't understand why Senator Murray rents office space in Spokane, Washington (East of the Cascades) when all her policies and congressional voting record reflect the will of the people West of the Cascades. We are a silent and unheard majority in Eastern Washington.

Ms. Murray please be remined this a vote of voters that are not in your 50 percent camp and that you represent all in the public interest not your close to wallet.
    Be reminded reminded

I am so sick of this "Democrat vs Republican" game. It doesn't matter who you are, or what you believe in, or what you believe is right or wrong in our nation.

Just if you're Democrat or Republican. Why can't we stop playing these games and base politics around what people TRULY want... This is what is wrong with America.

I have always been confident that Patty Murray would win. Dino Rossi is now a three-time loser to female Democrats. Elsewhere, the Republiicans ate their own kind. Many of the Democrats who lost in the House were Blue Dog Democrats who voted with Republicans. The election had the effect of purging the Democratic Party of Blue Dogs. That was most certainly the case in Mississippi.

Sorry Dino, but Washington is lost to communism. Your best hope is to get out before you're put in a labor camp. I used to live there, but got out while I could. Let the libs have it. With luck it and Ore-gone will slide into the ocean with The People's Democracy of Californica.

Do you realize that if the republicans had won a couple more Senate seats, they would be talking impeachment right now?
