(CNN) – Look too quickly, and you'd think it was an early 2012 presidential campaign ad.
But less than 24 hours after votes had been tallied in the midterm elections, Sarah Palin is out with a glossy Web video touting a string of victories Tuesday of GOP candidates she backed this election cycle.
The more than 60-second spot, which was e-mailed to supporters Wednesday, features the voice of a Palin stump speech amid images of several conservative candidates who enjoyed the backing of Palin, including South Carolina Governor-elect Nikki Haley, New Mexico Governor-elect Susana Martinez, and Florida Senator-elect Marco Rubio.
But the video, which doesn't actually identify any of the winning candidates while showing them on the campaign trail, is primarily about Palin, who is repeatedly heard being lauded by cheering supporters as she delivers inspired messages about shaking up Washington, DC.
"Based on what I'm seeing there is more than enough reason to have faith in America," Palin is heard saying. "I'm confident and I am hopeful because this is our movement, this is our moment, this is our morning in America."
The video comes even as some Republicans are grumbling about her role during the midterms, which saw the former Alaska governor back more than 40 House and Senate candidates.
While nearly half of Palin-backed candidates were victorious, her picks of some GOP primary challengers over establishment-backed candidates who were believed to have a better shot of winning a general election has left a sour taste in the mouths of some in the GOP.
To that end, two notable Palin-backed candidates are absent from the new video: Alaska's Joe Miller and Delaware's Christine O'Donnell. Miller appears to be behind write-in candidate and incumbent Sen. Lisa Murkowski while O'Donnell was soundly defeated by Democrat Chris Coon.
"We're gonna stand up and we're gonna speak out," Palin is heard saying in the video, a seeming answer to her GOP critics. "It may take some renegades going rogue to get us there. It may take folks shaking it up to get there. We've got to do this together."
After a brutal Tuesday, finally some good news for Democrats.
Who is this Sarah Palin person?
Thanks for the Senate seat in Delaware Mama Grizzley! Also good job with Sharron Angle. You are a legend in your own mind! P.S. Even though I am a Democrat, I sincerely hope that Lisa Murkowski is re elected in Alaska. At that point, I can congratulate your support of Joe Miller as well. Excellent Job!!!
Please run Sarah, please run!! This will assure a Democratic victory in 2012!
Now that some of her candidates won, we will never ever get rid of her. Ugh.
Yawn.............She would have to run as a 3d party candidate. Her negatives are too high among independents for her to launch a real campaign in a GOP Primary. They will harp on one thing – she QUIT on the state of Alaska. Until she can come up with a plausible (which there are none), that decision will haunt her for quite some time. The country is not as far right as she is.
Palin's no mastermind. Heck, I picked just as many winners as she did. And I gave my endorsement for free, whereas she charges "the good, hardworking Americans" megabucks to hear what she has to say. She's such a fraud. And bad for America. Who's she going to rail against if the president and Congress actually manage to get something done?
The question I have is why did the submitter of the video decide to disable viewers' ability to post comments? Or perhaps the answer is obvious...
Its' about as stupid as she is!
Lady get a life already
What do you expect from a media whore? She's the whole Kardashian family rolled into one person. I love how she will help destroy the "lamestream" GOP party.
Palin and the tea party want change....among other tings, they want to cut any and all things that work for those who reside in the urban areas and major US cities. But when it comes to very generous military pensions and programs that benefit those living in rural areas....like the welfare agriculture bill....they want the funding maintained and even increased. The tea baggers are nothing new......small government as long as you don't cut what benefits ME.
Sarah Palin is the defacto leader of the Republican O=PArty. Its time for her to assume her rightful role.
If this was the time, that George Washington and Abraham Lincolin could live-on,..., You gottcha be..., but, now in your...time, the WHITE HOUSE becomes the Kids play ground.
Please, look back and remember the GREATE SACRIFICAIONS and ask yourself calmly, WHO WERE THERE?
I'm looking at the picture of this "grizzly", and for some reason CROSSHAIRS comes instinctively to mind.
I LOVE it!! Another Sarah Story to drive the lefties insane(r). Way to go Sarah! Keep up the good work....
