(CNN) - Outgoing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Friday she will run for minority leader, even as some moderate and conservative Democrats have said she should step aside.
Pelosi made the announcement on Twitter: "Driven by the urgency of creating jobs & protecting #hcr, #wsr, Social Security & Medicare, I am running for Dem Leader."

Good for Nancy. She is smart enough and caring enough, I say go for it. So many people criticize Ms. Pelosi because it's hard to see a woman with this much power. Also the fact that she does not bend to every critical comment others make.
Please, Nancy. The damage you have done as Speaker of the House was a major cause of the "earthquake". Don't be an 'aftershock' for the Democratic Party. Quit now and let the moderate Democrats clean up your mess. It won't be easy, but when the dog poops on the rug, it's easier to clean up the mess after you kick the dog outside.

We have been blessed with the scientific determination there is a genetic motivator for a person to be a liberal. I have been a long time supporter of the premise gays are born with a genetic reason they are gay. I fully support that with the clear understanding other factors such as environment and an amount of choice also play roles. One can only hope they can find suitable treatments for both of these genetic defects and rid the world of both scourges.

Arrest and deport ALL illegals (including relatives of politicians). Arrest employers of illegals. No more anchor babies. Enforce our federal laws. Make America safe for Americans. DO YOUR JOB.
