GOP touts energy, values of a rising star

(CNN) – Reports that incoming freshman Republican Rep. Kristi Noem is in the running for a leadership slot may have most people asking, "Who?"

Three senior House GOP leadership sources told CNN on Monday that they are planning to add a leadership slot for a freshman member, and two of the sources said that South Dakota's Noem has expressed interest in the leadership post and appears to have the backing of the GOP leadership.

Her qualifications include: cute, white. The GObP has found out that sex sells (in a cleaned up, evangelical way). Who knows? Maybe she'll turn out to be another Palin? But the old white guys who run the show are hoping for a nice, compliant little girl that they can trot out for photo ops. They'll need someone to sweeten the bad news that they can't do squat about the economy or jobs.

    FIRST!!!

Oh Gawd! not another GOtP "Pretty girl"! So many questions
    Does this one have sense?
    Can she read?
    Does she read?
    Is she in hiding?
Is she willing to participate in an interview with the national media?
    Is she a witch?
Is she going to have her own reality tv show?
    Is she nuts?
Jesus Christ! I would give anything if she were just freaking normal!!! Normal enough for the media to ignore her except for her policy decisions. I am sick of these crazy conservative women! Palin, Angle, Bachman, O'Donnell. At this point I would vote for one IF THEY JUST PROVED TO BE SANE AND LITERATE!

The Republicans need to be reminded and HELD to one point- You campaigned on the economy, so now you OWN it. If unemployment is not reduced to 7% within 18 mo., then you failed.

It also has many people asking "Who cares?" She's not ready until she get's a handle on that hairdo.

"The democratic party allowed itself to be hijacked by the far left."

Stupidest comment I've seen in a long time. Nobody with an ounce of brains in their head believes that talking point garbage from the GOP/conservatives/Teatards. For one thing, everyone knows that the "far left" is pretty angry with Obama and the dems for not pushing hard enough for more of our agenda, such as a public option in the health care bill. For another, the health care bill we did get is primarily what Dole and the GOP proposed in the 90's in response to Clinton's proposed health care bill and there's not a single thing the Dems have done that comes even close to as "leftist" and the largely centrist bill. The reality is, the Dems have behaved in an extremely centrist manner, and the GOP knew they would, which is why the GOP and conservatives invented the Teatards, so they would have the political cover for moving far FAR to the right in order to shift the appearance of where the center lies and claim that the Dems were way to the left of it. It's just too bad that there's a large segment of the population who aims at the APPARENT center as if it's where the answers automatically lie or we wouldn't be facing 2 years of insane ideologue nincompoopery right now. Your completely misinfromed and inaacurate drivel is a prime example of why the GOP gets away with the misinformation campaigns and demogoguery: you people WANT to believe them and DO NOT CARE that the facts and evidence contradict it.

No kidding. Let alone the fact that their simply inventing a "leadership" position in which to stick her in order to pander to the Teatards and attempt to give their idiocy legitimacy. As for the hairdo...come on now...everyone knows that Palin made the tinfoil Bump-It part of the standard Teatard uniform.

I have a feeling that "energy" is going to run out once the electorate that put them in there finds out the GOP doesn't know how to govern. You would think people would have known that after the past eight years but I guess memories are very short, either that or lack of intelligence is or maybe BOTH.

Who? is the right response. The special interest is setting the table with it's minons with no experience to do their bidding. Just look at all the freshman GOP that have top post.

Seriously, I think the Liberal/Democrats/Progressives are insanely jealous of attractive women. The comments about the lack of intellect, "sense," and leadership. Frankly I would vote for a scarecrow before the witches Pelosi, Boxer and Waters.
Talk about a lack of leadership skills. Also my friends, look to the man you all elected – Obama had no "leadership" skill and now we are all suffering because you were dazzled by his "good looks, smile and oh so uncommon intelligence." PLEASE-stop being such POOR SPORTS. How pathetic that you concentrate on the physical appearance of a person before you even know them. GROW UP GANG.

    Thank you Sniffit!!!
We're ALL tired of hearing the retarded comments from the far-right and laying down hoping people won't STOOP to believing them. If the people we put in charge won't fight the lies we will!!!

And in regards to "Madame's Touissant's" hairdo....the less said about that convuluted beehive the better!

I've seen saner eyes on friends who ate mushrooms at Phish and Dead shows. Geez Louise. Is the vacant, dilated pupil look what tells other Teatards that the candidate is sufficiently braindead to actually believe their nonsense, not just a panderer saying what they want to hear?

Oh how nice. Another dark haired gop nobody knows anything about. I am sure what's her face will "twit" or facebook something about her because she knows so little about nothing!
Of course she has the baking of the gopers. She's a woman and their brains are below the belt.
@Sniffit – you are sooooooooo right!!!

Putting cute no substance republicans in leadership roles is a lame attempt to sway women voters to the dark side. Most women are smart enough to realize that it does not work. Beauty is skin deep, but republican ideology is ugly to the bone.

I guess the idea is that if they can't add anything to the job of running the government at least they provide eye-candy for the old geezers. About her hair – it can be cut, brushed, permed, whatever. I don't care what it looks like. What is it hiding though? Does she have a brain and will she be allowed to use it, or is she going to be another cheerleader for the GOP-brains?

Noem brings nothing but attacks on the Democrats and offers no ideas or solutions of her own. She is a GOP parrot who only won the election by attacking her opponent with lies and slander and comparisons to Pelosi. She has no regard for the law in her home state of SD, where she constantly breaks traffic laws and refuses to show up in court or take the repercussions for her actions.

Now the caption changes to the way she looks. That beehive is sure a thing to behold. What's her face wears her wigs just about the same way.
Of course she is the new resing star (LOL) of the rethugs. White woman with veneers.

She's a physically attractive white woman, just like Palin and O'Donnell, so that should be enough for today's average knuckle-dragging GOP voter.
