(CNN) - Rush Limbaugh injected racism into the Democratic leadership battle in the House.
On Thursday the conservative radio host blamed "racist Democrats" for trying to push Rep. James Clyburn to "the back of the bus."
Clyburn, an African American is running against Maryland Democratic Rep. Steny Hoyer for the position of House minority whip.
"Steny Hoyer and Clyburn, Hoyer wanting Clyburn to go back to the back of the bus, leadership battle," Limbaugh said. "The white racist leadership of the Democrat Party is trying to ace out Clyburn."
Limbaugh continued down his metaphorical road.
"The way this can all be worked out, Clyburn's new position: Driving Miss Nancy," Limbaugh said. "He gets to keep the car. He gets to go everywhere she goes, parties and everything else. He's not in the back of the bus. He's in the driver's seat, and she's in the back of the car being chauffeured. Solved problem."
Currently, Hoyer is the majority leader and Clyburn is the majority whip, which is also the number three spot in the Democratic leadership. But with Republican gains in the House, Nancy Pelosi will lose her speaker post and now plans to run for the minority leader position. Therefore, Hoyer and Clyburn, who are currently number two and three respectively in leadership are left vying for the number two spot.

CNN – please stop reporting what Limbaugh says. You should not lower your level of journalistic standards by giving free publicity to a talk radio show host that is just trying to stir-up controversy for ratings. This is just not worthy of any coverage and only serves to promote his agenda.

Is this just "foreplay" leading up to kicking RNC Michael Steele off the bus, if so Mr. Limbaugh, go ahead, do it. I personally challenge Limbaugh to answer that question.
Is Rush someone that anybody in their right mind would want to be friends with? Or any republican for that matter. If I owned a punching bag company I'd print this buffoon's face on every punching bag I made thus increasing my sales tenfold overnight.
And what has he done to improve "racial relations?" I don't think that Limbaugh really understands that they are running for "leadership positions" and not a domestic job. Only Limbaugh would try to do this... Where are the Blacks in the GOP and on his staff.

This is ALL Nancy Pelosi's fault. He insatiable desire for power at any cost keeps driving her to make very bad decisions, first for this country and now for the DEMOcRATS. If she had an ounce of integrity and honor she'd step down and cause this fiasco.
It is very funny to have the race card played on the DEMOcRATS just as they have played it thousands of times on others. The DEMOcRATS have used and abused blacks for decades. Get their votes, through them some good old government dependency and then throw them under the bus.
True, but then if they don't support Steny Hoyer, then they're percieved as being biased against people with silly names. It's a no win situation.
