Limbaugh blasts 'racist Democrats'

(CNN) - Rush Limbaugh injected racism into the Democratic leadership battle in the House.

On Thursday the conservative radio host blamed "racist Democrats" for trying to push Rep. James Clyburn to "the back of the bus."

Clyburn, an African American is running against Maryland Democratic Rep. Steny Hoyer for the position of House minority whip.

"Steny Hoyer and Clyburn, Hoyer wanting Clyburn to go back to the back of the bus, leadership battle," Limbaugh said. "The white racist leadership of the Democrat Party is trying to ace out Clyburn."

Limbaugh continued down his metaphorical road.

"The way this can all be worked out, Clyburn's new position: Driving Miss Nancy," Limbaugh said. "He gets to keep the car. He gets to go everywhere she goes, parties and everything else. He's not in the back of the bus. He's in the driver's seat, and she's in the back of the car being chauffeured. Solved problem."

Currently, Hoyer is the majority leader and Clyburn is the majority whip, which is also the number three spot in the Democratic leadership. But with Republican gains in the House, Nancy Pelosi will lose her speaker post and now plans to run for the minority leader position. Therefore, Hoyer and Clyburn, who are currently number two and three respectively in leadership are left vying for the number two spot.

Why would you post anything from this guy? Especially in the political section, maybe in the cartoons or circus section.

Slow day for Rush, I guess. Funny how he and his ilk are always the first to accuse their detractors of using the "race card."

Does anyone take this bloated, drug addicted, racist seriously. He sings Barack the magic negro on his radio show, and says a million other hate flilled lies daily, and now he's coming out with this garbage. Wasn't it Rush who was pushing the 200 million dollar a day myth for the President's trip just last week. This guy doesn't have an honest bone in his bigoted body. Mr Family values with his four wives, good grief.

It's hard to believe that the nation has sunk so low that a drug addict, with little or no education can have such influence on people and a radio show that apparently is influencing governance of said nation. Heaven help us.

How clever Limbaugh must think he is, to play the race card. 'I'll show those Democrats that voted in a black President, they really do hate the blacks.' Limbaugh is one sick puppy, he must be off his meds.

Any American who actually listens to Rush Limbaugh deserves to be lobotomized along with that fat, over-hyped, and overpaid hypocritical bigot.

You've lost me here, CNN. I am not a fan, nor will I ever be a fan of Limbaugh. I do not listen to Limbaugh, nor will I ever be interested in Limbaugh's opinions. As disgusting as I think Limbaugh is ... CNN, by virtue of lending credence to Limbaugh's rants through it's Political Ticker, is going down a road I want no part of. I am tired of the divisiness being broadcast by a supposedly new *neutral* leaning CNN.

Talk about someone trying to call another person racist who, himself, is a racist is beyond comprehension. Just because he had an African American officiate at his umpteenth wedding doesn't absolve this fool from his own racist behavior. This man called the president of the United States a "boy," so how can he expect anyone to take him seriously when he continues to say such things? If any one should do any driving, it's those of us with some sense who need to drive this drug addict out of our lives in a tar-baby suite cloaked in feathers.

But apparently he is totally fine with racism within the Republican Party and Tea Party. Why does anyone listen to this hypocrite anymore? I stopped when it came out after years of railing against drug users he was an addict himself. I still don't know why I even listened to him before that.

Limbaugh has got to be the most disingenuous SOB in the country!

That a racist like him would even begin to lecture to, or point attach the 'racist' lable on to anyone else is way beyond ridiculous!

I’m sure REP Clyburn is completely appreciative of Limbaugh’s support!!!

Why does this qualify as "news" CNN? Rush Limbaugh spouting hateful lies is the norm. You might as well publish stories like "Water still wet" and "Sun to rise tomorrow morning."

Ain't that the pot calling the tea kettle black. He uses a racist metaphor as evidence to point out what he considers a racist act. He's a racist...this proves it. As if we didn't know it already.

Oh that's rich. Limbaugh calling the Dems racist? Hello pot, this is kettle. His description of what he thinks is going on ("back of the bus", the Miss Daisy metaphor) is far more racist than what's really going on with the Dems.

Although I think that Rush is an expert racist, I have to believe that his objection has more to do with Nancy Polosi being a strong leader than James Clayburn being an African American.
