(CNN) - Rush Limbaugh injected racism into the Democratic leadership battle in the House.
On Thursday the conservative radio host blamed "racist Democrats" for trying to push Rep. James Clyburn to "the back of the bus."
Clyburn, an African American is running against Maryland Democratic Rep. Steny Hoyer for the position of House minority whip.
"Steny Hoyer and Clyburn, Hoyer wanting Clyburn to go back to the back of the bus, leadership battle," Limbaugh said. "The white racist leadership of the Democrat Party is trying to ace out Clyburn."
Limbaugh continued down his metaphorical road.
"The way this can all be worked out, Clyburn's new position: Driving Miss Nancy," Limbaugh said. "He gets to keep the car. He gets to go everywhere she goes, parties and everything else. He's not in the back of the bus. He's in the driver's seat, and she's in the back of the car being chauffeured. Solved problem."
Currently, Hoyer is the majority leader and Clyburn is the majority whip, which is also the number three spot in the Democratic leadership. But with Republican gains in the House, Nancy Pelosi will lose her speaker post and now plans to run for the minority leader position. Therefore, Hoyer and Clyburn, who are currently number two and three respectively in leadership are left vying for the number two spot.

I am half white and half hispanic, (Wheat bread). Throughout my years, I have found minorities using more racist language than white people. Black and Brown Power....can be shown for all to see, but the second a white person stands up for his or her race....it's completely racist. La Raza (The Race) is a complete joke to American society fighting this kind of crap. I view myself as white and not a minority becuase I can't stand my own people.

Being called racist by Rush Limbaugh is like being called ugly by a warthog. His whole history is tainted by a long string of racist remarks and he interprets everything in a racist manner. I'm not just talking about his comments about Obama - remember when he even injected it into his evaluation that Donovan McNabb was over-rated because he's black? All that did was demonstrate that not only does he apply a race-based filter to everything, but he didn't know squat about football. Maybe the Democrats aren't being racist – maybe they're actually having a contest between two qualified and ambitious people.
The thing Ruch doesn't realize is that the Democrats aren't listening to him.
Rush is typical of Republican thinking. They always accuse the Dems of what they themselves are guilty of.
