Unity message from conservatives

Baltimore, Maryland (CNN) – Former House Majority Leader Dick Armey used a Friday news conference for FreedomWorks, his leading conservative grassroots organization, to speak out against talk of friction between Tea Party members and the Republican Party leadership heading into the next Congress.

"For everybody in the press who thinks they've discovered a conflict, I'm sorry you missed the boat. The conflict is on the other side of the aisle," Armey said at the press conference following a two-day FreedomWorks retreat.

He said there is "no conflict," and instead said Republicans are united around one issue.

"To make this new Republican majority the most responsive majority to the will and the needs of the American people than that which we will have seen in our lifetime," Armey said.

The FreedomWorks retreat included discussions of how newly elected Republican members of Congress can advance the agenda of the Tea Party movement once they're sworn in.

About twenty-five newly elected members attended the closed meetings, including Congressman-elect Tim Scott of South Carolina, one of two Republican African Americans that will serve in the next Congress, and Senator-elect Mike Lee of Utah who was the only Senator-elect in attendance.

FreedomWorks is a nonprofit conservative organization based in the nation's capital. It helped train volunteer activists and has provided much of the organization behind the Tea Party movement. It also endorsed and helped get out the vote efforts for many Tea Party backed candidates this past election cycle.

    FreedomWorks?

I thought conservatives were for lesser government, but yet everytime I look up, one of these fascists are trying to impede upon our freedoms. Such hypocrites.

Dick is of course speaking for the 3 million Americans which own $21.4Trillion of America's wealth. To the rest of us 305 million souls, the message has been quite clear: bug off suckers.

Way to go rethugs! freedom works is so up the teatards behind that they will never be able to pry them apart. Right now the rethugs are probably united on how to get rid of the half term and shut her and her idiot folowers down.

Is there any doubt that Dick Armey and the Koch brothers funded the most extreme religious fanatics of the Republican Party that became the Tea Party? Now, they need to rein in the monster that they created. It won't be easy now that the extremists have had a taste of power. The TP Gang have no clue what is in the Constitution, what it means, how government works, or that they have been used to help stir fear and prejudice just to get people to the polls. They want to be taken seriously and they've only been taken for a ride by GOP strategists.

Conservatives and unity= oxymoron. Teabaggers are united in spreading their un-American agenda disguised as conservatism." Lead by the head polarizer, Sarah Palin. Where is the discussion on fixing the economy and job growth.
I bet Americans regret voting for these characters already, as we are beginning to find out. Two years worth of rope is enough time to give them. 2012 can't get here fast enough.

Ah ha. Another dimwitted rich white racist trying to speak for the majority of Americans. The Tear Pity Party consists of a bunch of uneducated, toothless and nameless racists from states that you have to get a shot and passport for before traveling there (I kid you not. Look up where most Tear Tea Pity Party morons are from). These idiots think they have the right to tell Democrats and Obama what to do. What a joke. We hate your guts and we will never agree with you, so shut up and get back to your one-room school house named after Sarah Palin.

If President Obama's failure equates to the failure of his own skewed Socio-Marxist beliefs of governance then bring it on now! I truly believe that both sides of the aisle have simply put the pressing issues that have led us to this economic decline repeatedly on the back burner over many years neglecting to initiate the harsh reality of true up simply due to voter acceptance. We now find ourselves in the need of fiscal tough love and a heaping dose for many of us to do without, that means cuts to entitlements that we have payed for over entire lifetimes as well as a massive reduction of the Federal workforce to decrease legacy obligations and payrolls. If we wish to regain our Nation to a condition of prosperity it is going to take sacrifice and that should commence with those in government taking the first bite!

Dick Army looks like a washed up game show host. Everyone knows what the tea party stands for and it is not for the good
of the country. Trying to go back to the past using an evil agenda is a sign of mental illness.
The Republicans have already stopped talking about Palin and the rest of the idiots who lost the elections for them. Karl Rove
will succeed at hiding Palin so she won't mess things up. Too bad they don' t know they have only been used for votes.
Now they will suffer with the rest of the middle class.

Unity: Where? The first thing out of the box Wed. mourning by the Republicans was health care repeal. Did they listen to the people? It is back to us and them once more for another two years.

Sure they're united because it is not January yet. Grab a bowl of popcorn because the tea party and republican circus arrives in D. C. in January. Where are the jobs, when will medicare and social security be abolished, when can I stop paying taxes? Remember you promised us jobs and no taxes.

Please tell us Dutch how these "Fascists" are trying to impede on your liberties? Do you mean like mandating what type of car you drive, or maybe what kind of food your kids can eat, or do you perhaps mean like upholding the Federal laws under our Constitution? Please Dutch, enlighten us all...

The first step in achieving unity on the "conservative" side of the aisle is ban discussion of that most divisive of issues, religion. The only thing that matters now is the economy–once that's been taken care of, then the religious nuts can return to their homophobia and trying to impose gestational slavery on American women.
