Palin's advice: Trust me

(CNN) - Sarah Palin has a message for new members of Congress: keep your promises.

The former Alaska governor took to her Facebook page Saturday to dispense advice and chart a roadmap for the next Congress.

"Stick to the principles that propelled your campaigns," Palin said in the open letter. "The first step is, of course, to defund Obamacare."

In addition to repealing health care reform, Palin called for cuts in spending, tax cut extensions and border security, all of which were pillars of congressional campaigns during the midterm election cycle.

She also encouraged bipartisanship.

"You should extend a hand to President Obama and Democrats in Congress," Palin said. "After this election, they may finally be prepared to work with Republicans on some of these issues for the good of the country."

But if Democrats are not willing to work across the aisle, she said "we will all be looking forward to 2012."

And her message was not without a jab at the media who she often refers to as the "lamestream media."

"Remember that some in the media will love you when you stray from the time-tested truths that built America into the most exceptional nation on earth," Palin said.

"When the left in the media pat you on the back, quickly reassess where you are and readjust, for the liberals' praise is a warning bell you must heed. Trust me on that."

Palin is often mentioned as a potential 2012 presidential candidate and launches a book tour at the end of the month to promote her new book, "America by Heart: reflections on family, faith and flag."

The tour will include stops in Iowa and South Carolina, sites of early presidential battles.

Non-partisan groups like the Congressional Budget Office says that health care reform "will reduce the deficit by more than $100 billion in the first decade."

It is also a fact that extending the Bush tax cuts to the wealthy will increase our budget deficit by $780 BILLION. (Plus, as we all know, tax cuts for the wealthy do NOT result in job growth here in the US; if they did, then where are all the jobs?)

Palin, if you had an ounce of gray matter or honesty, you'd drop your song and dance about defunding health care reform and extending tax cuts.

But then again, you'd have to completely change from being a who you are:

    A quitter, a liar and a mooch.

This self-procalmed "good chrizzjun woman" is such a fool. Defund "ObamaCare" and replace it with what – "BonerCare". You know the rethugliecant health care reform that says pay more for your health insurance – if you can afford it – get cancelled from your health insurance anytime the company feels like it and oh yeah...Die Quickly so you don't cost the health insrance company a lot of money.

Social Security cuts. Extending retirement age to 70. Cuts in education. Trillions of taxpayer dollars to give rich tax cuts. Higher gas prices. No tea party job and economic solutions. False and misdirected pride.
    How's everyone enjoying their tea?

Oh please trust her GOP, with her batting of .200 America can only WIN.
But GOP won't trust her, she's a pretty face, but the decisions are really made by their corporate overlords, you don't really think they'll let a ding-bat like Sarah make the important decisions do you? LOL
...but when the fame goes to your head, we all think we are more important than we really are ;)

I have an idea–how about the media, both lamestream and wingnut, stop giving this shallow self-deluded narcissistic fool attention. Maybe then she'll go away.

"REPUBLICANS CALL FOR BAN ON EARMARKS" – comment

Please do ban those earmarks, that way I from California (and people from other coastal blue states that actually have an economy that consists of more than just growing peaches or cotton) will not have to pay to keep you RED state from being a third world nation like I am right now.

CNN- She is just a woman- why must you report every word she speaks?
Had you covered healthcare facts with this ferver, this country would be embracing it instead of not knowing how it works.
Sarah Palin is not worth the space you give her.

"Trust Me".....yeah right Palin. Like she's ever done anything to give anyone a reason to trust her. She is nothing more than a lying, quitting, narcissistic woman who hides behind facebook and twitter to get her message out. Do something hard lady, come face to face with people who DON'T agree with anything you say and try to woo people across the aisle. It will never happen because once face to face with a non-ally she is nothiing more than a blubbering lunatic who can't hold a conversation because she really knows nothing.

Don't trust Quitter Ex Governor. She knowest not ANYTHING. And boycott her new TV show. If a tree falls in the woods and no one hears it... For that matter, maybe we should stop commenting on her stories. Then they will stop writing about her. This will be my final post on Dingy.

"When the left in the media pat you on the back, quickly reassess where you are and readjust, for the liberals' praise is a warning bell you must heed. Trust me on that." (Palin from above)

This should be a clear warning to all who enjoy freedom and express their freedom responsibly. This woman is oppressive in her ideology. She MUST NOT come into power of any kind. How can anyone trust someone who is completely blind to all beliefs but that of her own. A person such as this, Commander in Chief? A person such as this, holder of the nuclear football? I don't think so. When at the hour of our greatest need, when we needed unity, she gave us division. Pure rhetoric and propaganda. The epitomy of evil.

Yep – took to her Facebook page, she did – that outlet where you can "friend" those you like, and "unfriend" those you don't. Much easier to lob ammo from a sheltered garrison than from the front lines – you know, where the "lamestream media" are. Gawd, someone out there might actually confront you with a probing question, and she wouldn't want that now, would she?

    No, sirree!!

Make no mistake – she knows what she's doing. But I seriously question the capacities of those who follow her blindly.

Would those promises you want Senators to keep be anything like the Oath of Office you took as Governor of Alaska, Ms. Palin? Or do promises only apply to other people?
