(CNN) - Secretary Of State Hillary Clinton is not running for president - just ask her.
"I am not in any way interested in or pursuing anything in elected office," Clinton said on "Fox News Sunday."
Clinton laughed off speculation that she might run for president in 2012.
"I love what I'm doing," Clinton said. "I can't tell you what it's like… to every day get to represent the United States."
She said she feels strongly about "every issue, from START to Afghanistan."
But her repeated claims that she won't run for office again have done little to quell the talk that she might challenge President Barack Obama in the next election.

I think we heard this from you before Slick Hilly..
Good. She's got nothing to bring to the office. Certainly the Democratic Party can find someone who can stir up a little bit of excitement in 2012? I'm sure Obama will run, but at this point I would be surprised if he could even win a Democratic nomination. He made some early, huge, bet-the-farm wagers with the Stimulus Bill and ObamaCare and both have been losers. Fortunately in the remaining 2 years of his Administration no more of this greedy, self-serving legislation will ever make it through congress. Rubber-stamp approval days are over and legislation will have to make it through based on it's own merits.
The Obamists must have thretened to release the closed FBI files for the Clintons. Obama is learning his lessons well from Hugo Chavez and the Castro brothers.
If she does not challenge the President in 2012, I will definitely support a bid by her in 2016. This house supports the Clintons and the Obamas.
Why would she run? She already has all the fun that a president would have traveling the world without all the constant harrasment by republicans, pollsters, or pundits. She can talk down to the rest of the world while Obama takes the blame.
If she were to run, don't you think she'd already have started campaigning and fundraising? A successful presidential run starts the day after the previous election finishes. It's what she and Obama did 2004-2008, it's what the republicans have been doing since 2008. Sorry CNN, I know it's a slow news day, but there is no news here.
I'm ready here about Obama proposing "greedy, self-serving legislation" ... what do you call what the Republicans have done by blocking unemployment benefits, while pushing for extending tax cuts for the least needy among us, the top 2% of wage earners?
You so obviously listen to Fox and Limbaugh, because you don't have an ounce of sense nor compassion.
"The Obamists must have thretened to release the closed FBI files for the Clintons."
Quick logic question: If the FBI files are closed, then how does President Obama know what's in them? And if you claim he has access because he's president, then why didn't GW Bush release these "secret" files?
Answer: Because they don't exist – just like your ability to think logically!
Hillary has always been running for president and nothing will change that. Remember actions speak louder than words.
Hillary loves what's she doing, representing the United States around the World and not being self serving or quitting. Hillary is focused and smart enough to know when it's time for any further decision making without spouting off at the mouth every time the camera is in her face.
Isn't that the same thing she said when she was trying to get elected senator from NY? Look what happened a very short time later. She was a carpetbagger. I don't believe a thing this woman says.
@Four and The Door, "Fortunately in the remaining 2 years of his Administration no more of this greedy, self-serving legislation will ever make it through congress."
You mean like during the eight years of the Bush Administration when our economy and security were destroyed for made up wars?
How the heck is this news? She lnows we have a President who is doing an ecellent job especially under the circumstances check with her at the end of Obama's second term she might change her mid by then. Any other asperations are just the wishful thinking of the idiots who put us in the mess we were in. Although if she and Joe Biden were ti switch jobs sometime arounfd the middle of the Obama years that would not be bad.
Of course she is not going to run against Obama, but I'll bet she is first in line after him. Until then, she is just padding her resume with foreign policy experience.
I wish Dems hadn't been so stupid in '08. Hillary would have kicked butt as President!
I guess a second term as secretary of state is good enough for her.
This continues to be a ruse. The Democratic party WILL push her to run in 2012 because O will not beat any GOP candidate. He is a loser for them. she WILL be the dems nominee, it is the strategy. It is the strategy.
Hillary knows about loyalty and she would never have become President Obama's Secretary of State if she were not able to adhere to his goals and ideas...she is not a quitter...and she is much more honest than she gets credit for..a woman with a brain...scares you guys doesn't it?...that may be why you all are so eager to parade Ms Flutterbutt around...she doesn't threaten your idea of yourself...
Hillary Clinton woud let Sarah Palin looks like the biggest "stupid, dumb bell, untelligent" person even on the face of the earth. It would be my greatest pleasure to see both ladies discussing any topic on major issues in the USA. This would be where "intelligence and knowledge" meet "stump speech". It would be laughable. There would be absolutely no comparison at all. Hillary is certainly NOT a QUITTER at her job to become a celebrity. Hillary is certainly a role model to us ladies – both in her personal and professional life.
I think it would make sense for Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton to change places in 2012. She can campaign as the vice-presidential nominee, and help the Democrats win re-election. Joe Biden would take over as Secretary of State. Then in 2016, she could run as president. That way, it would take years for the republicans to win the White House. I say that would be a brilliant move. I want Obama to remain as president.
Hillary Clinton is an asset in her post and would be a wonderful VP to Obama. I think she would be the VP to broadcast far better than Biden all the good Obama has done.
Obama has done an impressive job in keeping the economy from a free fall collapse, saving the car industry, saving the unemployment from as most economist agree being even higher, and overhauling the health care this on top of having a Republican body seek to undermine him all the way with lies (death panels, fake questions about his nationality , scaring people that he is a socialist) while dealing with two excessively expensive entanglements in the middle east.
She needs to rethink her no. She is the only possiblity for the Dems to keep the presidency.
Karl Rove will be crushed.
Now he won't be able to charge the GOP for all that anit-Clinton campaign strategizing he developed in 2008.

Tthere is hardly ever a challenge to an Imcumbent. Otherwise I'm SURE the Rpublican Party would have nominated someone other than G.W. in 2004
