(CNN) – Tuesday's arrival of Sarah Palin's new book brought new criticism from her former running mate's daughter, Meghan McCain.

(CNN) - The country's last undecided Senate election arrived in state court Monday when Alaska Republican Joe Miller sued the state over how write-in ballots for his Republican rival, write-in candidate Sen. Lisa Murkowski have been counted.
Miller's lawsuit was originally filed in federal court, but a judge ruled Friday that it was instead a matter for the state court to decide. However, he did grant a temporary injunction halting certification of the Senate election.
(CNN) - Sarah Palin has yet to formally declare she will run for president, but the book released Tuesday titled "America By Heart" is as clear a statement of intention as there could be.
Palin's 11-day, 13-state tour to promote the book begins Tuesday, and will take her through states that have early presidential primaries and caucuses, including Iowa and South Carolina.

CNN: Sources: Plouffe to join White House staff, Axelrod may exit sooner than expected
President Obama is planning to bring former campaign manager David Plouffe onto the White House staff at the beginning of January to work alongside senior adviser David Axelrod for a brief time before Axelrod moves on to help run the re-election campaign, according to a senior administration official and a senior Democratic strategist familiar with the plan. The sources added that Axelrod is now planning to leave his White House post as soon as immediately after the State of the Union address, which is an earlier departure date than originally expected and could be part of a new round of departures at the White House.
