Palin's new book lays out GOP battle plan; will she be the general?

(CNN) - Sarah Palin has yet to formally declare she will run for president, but the book released Tuesday titled "America By Heart" is as clear a statement of intention as there could be.

Palin's 11-day, 13-state tour to promote the book begins Tuesday, and will take her through states that have early presidential primaries and caucuses, including Iowa and South Carolina.

Ms. Palin is quoted in her book using the term "jingoistic"… not a bad word and it fit the context of the sentence. I would, at some time in the future, simply ask her to define that term. I would be interested in her answer in any case.

Palin should be regarded as having a very good chance of being the next president, considering fox entertainment news and the mentality of the American electorate.

She should definitely run and I hope she wins the nomination, because she certainly can't win the general election.

Palin is trying to show that she actually knows something. That could be hard since she knows little about policy and doesn't seem to be learning. How many ideaologues really learn from the mistakes that they make. She assumes that free market policy wiill aways works when the underling assumptions are flawed (in part and not totally).

It is commical that this incomplete office holder who so ardently embraced Alasakan seccession from the Union (Todd was actually a member of the anti-U.S. movement) is now the Republican battle planner and figure head for the next election. This speaks volumes of the falseness of Republican "patriotism". Palin's blind supporters meanwhile line up to have her sign copies of her latest screed (which she no doubt had ghost-written). In this book she continues her baseless, lie-filed attack on our President and Federal government, along with her other idiotic musings about the world. Perhaps Sarah and Todd should move to another country without a government (since they hate it so much). Somalia might be nice!

America by Heart? Well, I supopse that's certainly wasn't from a brain though. This megalomaniacal twit is going to hand Obama a second term, and it's delicious. Her only real chance is for Issa and the GOP to succeed in their witchhunts over the next 2 years. I hope everyone whho voted them into office enjoys them not doing a single thing to actually help any of us, but rather focusing on helping themselves, and by extension their rich and corporate special interest puppetmasters, in 2012. Go ahead...start won't be long now before your gullibility pays off.

The mainstream news media has already got it's knives sharpened for Palin if she decides to run for office of president. The effort has been underway for months now to destroy this woman because of her conservative views which flys in the face of most of the media's liberal/progressive positions.I hope americans realize what the media is doing and put and end to this by getting their news from more responsible news organizations and outlets.Let CNN,CBS ,ABC,and CNBC wallow in their low ratings.

Armies have more than one general.
Sarah Palin is an important force in American politics.
Not everybody appreciates her contributions to her country.
    I do.

I hope that the GOP makes Palin their ‘General’, their ‘Savior’ and Leader. I am not the only one who will enjoy the fast approaching Republican dien bien phu.
The tired outdated party rhetoric, that is Lord Forbid if it is put into legislation a second time will cause the world abroad to turn its back on the United States once again.

The General of what? Can she even spell that title? Palin is adept at 2 things; keeping her face on the news and making money off her new-found fame. Those are her political strong points, not national strategies or world views.

How can she honestly say that she is a power player and ready to be President of the United States when she refuses to be interviewed by the softball-throwing Katie Couric? Will she also refuse interviews to any other legitimate journalist who insists on asking her any questions more difficult than: Is the sky Blue? Or what did Trig do today? (oh, excuse me, I forgot that her family is off-limits.) Or maybe someone might ask her when was the last time she looked out her window at Russia and thought about sending her Air Force out on an attack? Oh, wait a minute, that was as the Governor of Alaska. I remember now, she quit!

This woman is no more ready to lead this country than a fence post! Please stop spashing yourself everywhere and go back to your Alaska. I don't want to hear you on the Republican channel,er, Fox News; I do not want to watch your dumb tv show; I do not want to read your books; and fortunately I won't have to watch your fat little girl try to dance anymore.

If this woman were ever elected President, I shudder at the thought of how quickly our nation would devolve into the butt of world jokes and even worse how our place as a world leader would end so quickly.

Ok, I have to say it. It's embarrassing as an American that the rest of the world is watching us put this idiot up on a pedestal, pretending that she is a viable candidate for president. Is this how Rome felt as it was declining, as they were fiddling while it burned?

And now she says Katie Couric won't have access to her if she runs. Seriously? Who the hell does she think she is with her "lamestream media" garbage? She may want to run for president but doesn't owe the American people answers to questions? What newspapers do you read is a "gotcha" question? In what world? What the heck is happening to us, and how much lower are we going to go before we either reverse this idiocy or self-destruct?

She wants to be rich – she is now. And she's using everyone that shows up at her speeches and buys her books and watches her shows, to attain it. Y'all are being used, just as she is being used by the GOP to turn out voters. Shame on all of us, and to you CNN for putting her in such high esteem. She's a joke, and you as a news organization by promoting her day in and day out, have also become a joke. Check those ratings lately?

"America by Heart, Except for When I was a Seperatist and Stealing from my State" is the real title of this book. Sarah Palin is trying to hoodwink the nation into thinking she is going to run for POTUS, this creates division and hate and book sales, all while she knows she could never pass the criminal background check needed to become POTUS. She is playing everyone to bulk up her bank account and laughing all the way. The only thing she is good at is fooling so many people and that makes her rich.

I'm convinced that she is NOT running for president. Furthermore, whomever she endorses / campaings for WILL be the Republican nominee. While most Republicans are noncommittal (at best), those with the best outlook for the nomination (Huckabee, Gingrich, Romney) almost certainly cherish her support. Huckabee just about came out and said it. And before you libs go on about her endorsement being the "kiss of death", consider this – her endorsees won more seats than they lost. The ones that did lose were those from typically blue areas. Yes, Alaska was the exception... but the Murkowski name has statewide recognition and Perry was a weak candidate.

2012, on the other hand, is a national election. BIG difference. Say, for example, that Huckabee gets the nomination. No one is going to tell me truthfully that Sarah Palin's endorcement will make them choose the democratic nominee. Those who do say that with a straight face were not going to vote Republican in the first place.

DO NOT underestimate this woman. She has an enormous following, which in politics translates to an enormous fuindraising potential. And the Republicans are going to need just that. Obama's warchest is going to be huge.

Politically, her endorsement isn't going to come free. Can you say Secretary of Energy Palin?

Do you realize that we've gone from contemplating Hilary Clinton as our first woman President, to this sub-par, intellectual neanderthal?
This woman epitomizes EVERYTHING that is wrong with America. Everything. Our lying and cheating, our lack of responsibility and committment to the greater good. Our 'quit if you don't like it' attitude. Our ever-growing, and well-fed need for instant gratification. Our lack of family values, children raising themselves every which way. Our inability to set a good example for our children to follow. Our duplicity. Our lack of a moral and spiritual compass.
This individual is what CNN is proposing to you as the next President of this country.
How far have we fallen Americans? We could not possibly much further to drop with this Half-Wit half-termer being touted for the sake of rating$ as the standard bearer.

Palin’s strategy is not going unnoticed for its ‘original’ approach. Stay in the news with your brash, unfounded ridiculous lies, afforded to you by the absence of the burden of actual truth; put your name on books that are written for you; and rouse of up the ignorant sensibilities and fears of the bigot electorate….can the old white GOP men in Washington afford to ignore her – or will they have to cave in as more of their party electorate finds that their bigotry is acceptable if it is wrapped up in a white leggy 40s something grandmother whose preaches an American bastardization of European Christianity along with her ridiculous stumbling rambling and bumbling oral diarrhea?

Palin and the rest of the so-called "conservatives" have No plan, compromising our National Security to block the START Treaty for childish politics and failing to uphold our constitutional freedom of press by being cowards running scared from mainstream media.

Definitely NOT the party of Reagan anymore...

Again, if you decide to read this drivel, you also have to read about the Alaskan Independence Party which her husband was
a member of for seven years. The hate for America is virtually their platform, the first plan being cessation from America,
a policy endorsed by her husband by virtue of his membership. The now deceased founder called the flag, "that damn
flag". Palin is the last person to have credibility on the subject of faith. Her own hateful rhetoric does not come from any
sense of compassion nor understanding of what "having faith" means. Her total dimwittedness proves
she believes in herself only, so she can stuff that talk back into her stupid mouth. She actually said, in her early years as Governor, that she didn't have time to think about Iraq, she was too busy. So her "preaching patriotism and faith" is as
shallow as her "deep thinking" abilities. I have never read a comment from her defenders that goes to her intelligence, her
understanding of the complexities of the World, nor her stated solutions for just one problem. That's because she has a
hollow mind and heart. All they can say is "she sure is purdy". Alaska rejects her and so do I. America deserves
