Bristol meets her dancing fate

(CNN) - Despite the roll-out of Sarah Palin's new book and her first book stop, it was her daughter that received most of the attention Tuesday night.

Bristol Palin received her "Dancing with the Stars" fate during Tuesday's show, losing the mirror-ball trophy to actress Jennifer Grey.

So it was only natural that the elder Palin respond to her daughter's loss at her book signing in Phoenix, Arizona. At the time of the event, the former Alaska governor hadn't talked to Bristol, but she said she knew what her daughter would say.

"She's going to say 'Mom, it was a great experience, like you say people are going to criticize anyway, you might as well dance,'" Palin told ABC. "She's had the journey of, you know the challenge and the improvement and the work ethic. This has been all about work ethic and perseverance."

Palin said she "couldn't be prouder" of Bristol and congratulated Jennifer on her Twitter page.

The winner of the contest is determined by a combination of scores from the show's three judges and viewer votes. Although Bristol received consistently low ratings from the judges, she proved a fan favorite.

Season 11 of the show started with 12 contestants. Palin was one of three to make it to the final round including Grey and actor Kyle Massey.

Bristol should do a Joe Miller and demand a recount! All votes from blue states could have been thrown out If DWTS was on Fox, and we would be celebrating a different winner.

Bristol's dancing is a mirror image of her mother's own abilities.
Plays well for those of limited integrity and who idolize her, but is a joke (failure) in the real world.

Now she can go gut some salmon or hunt some "grizzlies" in Alaska with her mother. This woman has (and had) no talent at all. What a farce.

It is time for Bristol to find the real job and stop day-dreaming like her mother.
I could not stop laughing watching in her mother reality show, talking about the timber fence at house (easily eaten by termites), that the government should built the same fence in Arizona. Gosh! this family is full of mischiefs!

I thought Ms. Palin danced pretty well, but not near as well as some of the people she beat.

How in the world do you use a weekly entertainment show for political gain. This family is totally in their own world. They do not realize this was a dancing competition and Bristol can not dance. She should have been gone weeks ago. See when you cheat nothing good comes out of it. Sarah teach your children. Get off the campaign trail and go home.

["She's going to say 'Mom, it was a great experience, like you say people are going to criticize anyway, you might as well dance,'" Palin told ABC.]

Sarah teaches her daughter to be HATEFUL and Bristol is a "chip off the OLD block". Bristol showed that in her little interview before she went on stage, something about 'putting her finger up" to all of the haters??? Why can't both Sarah and Bristol accept they have NO TALENT or EXPERIENCE as the reason why they LOST?????

["She's had the journey of, you know the challenge and the improvement and the work ethic. This has been all about work ethic and perseverance."]

Sarah scrutinized American Idol and how "untalented contenders" onstage know they have no talent. Does Bristol also fall into the same category?? The Palins need to PRACTICE what they PREACH and they really think that the American people are DUMB!

So who really forced Palin to LOSE? Was it NOT enough of TP voting? Or, is it America saying, "Enough is enough"... Jeez! Come on NOW!!! Hopefully this would SLAP both Sarah and Bristol “back to reality”. Another question, why wasn’t Sarah @ the event when her daughter LOST???? A “book-signing” is more important????

I am going to stick with our current leader, President Obama, while he handles the current crisis in N/S Korea and continue to MOVE AMERICA FORWARD!!!

Bristol wanted to win for revenge on the doubters? Revenge is a quality her mother has instilled in her, and can destroy a person. I am hopeful that Bristol will use her new celebrity status to get as far away from Alaska as possible.

Another loss for the Prima Donna clan. Why am I not suprised?

It was obvious that many of the votes previously came from no brained TEALIBAN sheep.

"it was all about work ethics"......teach your daughter Silly Sarah to work an honest job after being educated in a school somewhere! There were no " Haters " of your daughter, she couldn't DANCE, that's it and that's all! ! This was a Dance competition, Silly Sarah....and the best dancers should have been able to stay. Your daughter appears angry and has no "social skills at all"...... Tell her to go to school and stop riding your 15 minutes of fame to enhance her personal fortures. But like mother...like daughter!

Had her last name not been Palin, she would have left in the first three shows. She was TERRIBLE!

Bristol did not belong in the final. The contest for the trophy shoould have been between Brnady and Jennifer. The politics have entered another realm of our life where the population is secricing objectivity to idealogy.

She had a joyride all along. I feel she should have been eliminated long ago. If she thinks that she was even close to performance of many other who got eliminated she has to be living in a fools paradise. Personally I have been so disgusted with the way she reached the finals that I have decided to NOT see this show any more

I never watched this crap. She should not have been allowed on in the first place. It was too much of a promotion for her mother.

one by one...this Palin family continues to make me want to yak like a sick goat. What an incredibly low threshold of entertainment we have reached when a plump nobody from Alaska with zero skills, zero achievement, and zero personality becomes entertainment.
You people producing these shows really need your heads examined

Since this was turned into a political outing, anylize it as such.
Tea Party zealots make a lot of noise and can be scary, but in the end, Americans don't want Palins.

Bristol should have gone during the 1st week. DWTS is not a popularity contest. It is an dance competition. They should have brought back Brandy & Mark and judges should have the finale said.
