Palin hits back at Barbara Bush

(CNN) - The Barbara Bush-Sarah Palin verbal spat continued Wednesday with Palin's response to the former first lady, who on Monday said she should stay in Alaska.

"I don't think the majority of Americans want to put up with the blue-bloods," Palin said in a radio interview on the Laura Ingraham Show Wednesday. "With all due respect because I love the Bushes, the blue-bloods who want to pick and choose their winners instead of allowing competition."

The former Alaska governor said she will not be suppressed by leaders of the Republican Party, who she said are ignoring "the will of the people." She also called their statements "inefficient," "unprofessional" and "immature."

Wednesday's interview coincides with the release of her new book, "America by Heart."

However, on conservative Sean Hannity's radio show Tuesday, Palin said if her 2012 candidacy were hurting the Republican Party she would step aside.

"If I get in the way of that cause, I don't need a title, I don't need a position," Palin said.

Palin has repeatedly left the door open to a presidential run in 2012, even telling ABC's Barbara Walters that she could beat Obama in the next election. In the meantime she is in the midst of a national book tour, which will include stops in Iowa and South Carolina, sites of early presidential primaries and caucuses.

Interesting. Now Palin picks on the "blue bloods" – but aren't those the same "job creators" she wants to make sure gets tax breaks? Really, this woman is getting to be a bit too much. I am scared to death that the unintelligent voters in this country may actually sent this celebrity hound to the White House someday. Our country would never survive her. Inefficient, immature and unprofessional – you betcha Sarah, you surely are all three...and please add polarizing, dangerous, hateful and untruthful.

I am stunned with the reasoning of Sarah, and how she can insult the people in the Party that brought her where she is now. In her thinking, does she see she can win only by the supporters from Tea Party???
It will be a wise thing every contender be checked their IQ first before entering the race. There is an alarm going on to wake up every voter!

Palin is the prime example that intelligence cannot be bought; no matter how many dollar bills angry whites through at you to voice their bigotry and your own on the national stage. She is nothing than a media stripper.
    I don't need a position," Palin said.”
This is exactly the liberty that Palin is afforded. Without being held to the same burden of proof as actual lawmakers, Palin can stammer out whatever lies and oral diarrhea as she that she sees fit. The real fools are those Tea Bigots who actually think that:
    1. Palin is actually offering something of substance to the political discourse.
    2. That her random outbursts could ever evolve into actual legislative policy.

She is so petty and immature. If anyone utters an unkind word about her, she can't help herself but to come back with "nu uhhh!"

Criticism comes with the job, sister. Your inability to deal with it has caused you to become the laughingstock of politics. Sadly, there's still a third of the country that falls right in line with your immaturity and lack of knowledge.

Can this woman put together a simple English sentence? One with a subject, a verb, and perhaps an object?

Too bad she can't tell North from South Korea. Go ahead CNN...do a little research on her statements regarding the current escalation between the two sibling nations.

"With all due respect because I love the Bushes, the blue-bloods who want to pick and choose their winners instead of allowing competition."

LOL.. Backhanded a virulent as always. I guarantee you that the blue-blooded Bushes don't disapprove of Jaberwocky Barbie as a presidential candidate simply because they want to choose someone else who is also a "blue blood" (and btw, I should think her $15M+/- earned last year hasn't left her blood all tha red). They recognize what a dangerous, undereducated, ideologue nitwit she is, what a disaster for their party she would be as a candidate and what an abomnation she would be as POTUS and in control of the football. Anyone who thinks her bravado would force foreign nations to respect her is a godforesaken retard. The disdain and inability to take her at all seriously would destroy our international standing IMMEDIATELY if she were elected....and that's not even considering the further decline thereof for every time she opened her screaching harpy mouth to babble unrealistic ideological word salad platitudes at the world's leaders. The only reason to remain an American if she was elected would be that she's not likely to fly off the apocalyptic deep end and nuke her own country...at least not first anyway.

I never thought I would say this.. but please .. where are the intelligent Republicans. NO matter what party you are in, there needs to be a meeting of the minds from both sides. That can't begin unless there are actual MINDS involved. This lady is full of rhetoric about being a grizzly mom and all that jazz. I love my mom and she is much more intelligent than Ms. Palin. However, she should not be President.

I was not a great fan of George Herbert Walker, and even less of a fan of W politically speaking, however I respect them both for their service in the hardest job on the panet. I think its incredibly direspectful of Sarah Palin to call Barbara Bush a "blue blood". Barbara bush is 10 times the woman that Sarah Palin will ever be.

Palin is just using the people to get rich, become a multi-millionaire while she is hot. We don't ask her to visit the states. She just pushes those big red lips on everyone. Who is writing her books. she is not intelligent enough for writing them.

Oh, good grief, give it a rest, Palin. Is there NO ONE this woman doesn't see as an adversary needing to be verbally slayed for every negative utterance made against her? I suspect Russia, North Korea, and Iran won't be as easily amused by these juvenile antics of Palin backlash as we Americans are. Either put up, or shut up, Palin. Announce your candidacy, or amuse yourself without further dragging reputable others into the foray of your Palin exceptionalistic narcissism. How predictably boorish Palin has become.

"Blue bloods." Now there is an example of class warfare rhetoric! And yet she and other Republicans accuse the Democrats of the same. As Momma Bush said, it's time for this Momma Grizzly (Palin) to stay in Alaska where grizzlies belong.

If Sarah Palin had half the style that Barbara Bush has in one hand, then John McCain would probably be sitting in the Oval Office. But she does not. If she had any common sense, she would simply hear Ms. Bush's comments and keep going. If asked about them, she respects Barbara's right to have an opinion. And leave it at that. Verbal fencing with every pundit or speaker simply brings her to their level. If she ever wants to be anything more than a running gag on SNL, she needs to stand on her own two feet and look forward.

I have to side with Palin somewhat on this score. On the day of GW's first inauguration the DOW Jones average closed at 10,887 and on his second inauguration day it closed at 10490 ( that's a loss for those math challenged among us). After another 4 years of the blue bloods in charge the DOW was down around the 8,000 mark and closed at a meager 7,949 on President Obama's inauguration day. The DOW will more than likely close today at about 11,100 (about a 40% increase since the Obama inauguration for the math challenged). It looks like Palin may be on to something.

Palin is a political light-weight who has a way of picking fights that are difficult for her to win.

As time goes on, we see how silly and childish the lady really is. I predict that even the ultra-conservative 'wing' (her base) of the Republican party will see her the way the rest of the country sees her. How long it'll take for that to happen, however, is anyone's guess.

I'm so glad these Palins have such a thick skin that they don't need to hit back at anyone by using obscene language on Facebook (dear sweet Bristol and Willow) or by trashing the Bush family on the radio.Yes, these are surely women we want as role models in the White House. By the way, Sarah, you are already hurting the Republican Party, so you can step aside now.
    Please.

There go thin skin Carabu Barbie again, one thing we do know about her, she can't handle criticism or any concerns for facts, as long as she can continue to spew out the same repeated speech to her devoted uneducated followers, her delusion of grandur continues. I agree with Mrs. Bush however, Carabu Barbie want get it until reality finally catches up to her.

Ahhh...Sarah, Darlin. I see you've mastered the art of "How to win friends and influence people."
    Not.
Me thinks you should consider "steppin' aside" because you're not going to get any major Republican support after attacking Barbara and placing her and the President in the "Elite Class."
    Good Grief

This woman just loves to get into verbal spats with anyone that does not agree with or like her. She can't be content with being quiet. That's one signal that we don't need her in the White House. She would start awar simply by shooting off her mouth at the wrong time or place or at the wrong person. If this woman had any common sense she would be 1000 times smarter than she is now and almost as smart as an IDIOT. MAMA BEAR BARBARA BUSH thinks she should stay in Alaska but the poeple up there don't want her back so maybe Putin would take her. He could always use another pet.

Why isn't Palin home with her family for Thanksgiving? I have been cooking all day. I guess she has a Chef to do her cooking because she is just your average American. Palin's right she doesn't need a title or position because she already has a title and a position that can not be put in print. If I put it in print I will get my mouth washed out with soap. Well this is my break for today. Happy Thanksgiving everyone and time time to enjoy your family and friends.
