Palin hits back at Barbara Bush

(CNN) - The Barbara Bush-Sarah Palin verbal spat continued Wednesday with Palin's response to the former first lady, who on Monday said she should stay in Alaska.

"I don't think the majority of Americans want to put up with the blue-bloods," Palin said in a radio interview on the Laura Ingraham Show Wednesday. "With all due respect because I love the Bushes, the blue-bloods who want to pick and choose their winners instead of allowing competition."

The former Alaska governor said she will not be suppressed by leaders of the Republican Party, who she said are ignoring "the will of the people." She also called their statements "inefficient," "unprofessional" and "immature."

Wednesday's interview coincides with the release of her new book, "America by Heart."

However, on conservative Sean Hannity's radio show Tuesday, Palin said if her 2012 candidacy were hurting the Republican Party she would step aside.

"If I get in the way of that cause, I don't need a title, I don't need a position," Palin said.

Palin has repeatedly left the door open to a presidential run in 2012, even telling ABC's Barbara Walters that she could beat Obama in the next election. In the meantime she is in the midst of a national book tour, which will include stops in Iowa and South Carolina, sites of early presidential primaries and caucuses.

So that means that Sarah would follow her past history and quit after she realizes she is in over her head for a Presidential Campaign. I hope for the good of the Republican Party (no, guys, I haven't gone off my rocker yet!) that she realizes this before the end of the Republican Nominating Convention.

It was just a matter of time. She can sure dish it out, but when she's at the receiving end of it she lashes out just like a middle schooler. Of course what do you expect. She tweets and posts on Facebook for crying out loud.

And by the way, someone needs to educate Sarah Palin. North Koreans are not our allies. What an idiot. Good job, CNN, promoting her day in and day out. Makes you look real credible, I dare say.

What an idiot Palin is! Please stay in Alaska, please zip the lips, please join all the other nut jobs and find an island
where you can live out the rest of your pitiful lives.

CNN: stop giving this wingnut print time

Palin says that Barbara Bush's remarks are "inefficient"?? What does that mean? And she says that they are "immature", which is a taunt that one junior high schooler typically hurls at another. Palin's lexicon is immature, to say the least. Her language is the rough equivalent of a 8th grader's - no wonder she hides behind Twitter and ghosted comments on Facebook.

    Sarah, I have always spoken
up for you. I get the liberals
mad at me on these blogs more
    than anybobdy else. Marie MD,
    Secptic1, and many others want
to lynch me because I like you.
But Sarah, you have got to dump
your reality show. The people I work
with who support you are having
doubts because of this silly show.
If you want to keep your followers
    and attract even more.....dump the
    show.
I want to see Palin 2012.....but you
have got to stay in the political
spot light and get out of that show.
If you don't get more serious there's
always Mitt. Take heed ,don't fumble
the ball this far into the game.
Walk the walk and focus for
    2012 !!!!!

I hope Mrs Bush don't stoop to Palin level and answer her back because she doesn't deserves it. Mrs. Bush is more of Lady than Palin can ever dream to be. Maybe that is what wrong with Palin, she hate women who is more smarter than her and has a lot of more wisdom on how to respect people.

I agree with Barbara. Sarah needs to stay in Alaska. Nobody who is serious about runninig for president should be doing reality TV.

"Palin beats on old white lady" – would be the lame-stream media headline if the used the same criteria that they use for Obama.
I'm sure fox will do better "Hot MILF beats back un-deserved attack from angry un-employed woman on media-care"

We have to take with a grain of salt, every thing and any thing the ex-governor-why not governess-says. Menatlly challenged people can only spew slogans, half truths and innuendoes where they can explain later if the statement doesn't come out as expected. The republican party's platform had or has the approval for living will counseling, but enter Obama with his healt? care program and the same item becomes "Death panels." She is for the Constitution, but only when it fits her purposes and even then is subject to revisionism. I do have a question that not too many people know, why many, if not alol, of the mentally challenged people flock to the republican party? I have my own opinion and is that for a party, a racist, bought by special interests, its subjects have to be dumb to vote for the same people who want their demise. In other words, they must be masochist to death. Well, something good has to come out of all this evil: They earned. Thanks to republicans, tea partiers, America can be thankful that, at least in what it pertaines to them, racism will be alive and well for centuries to come. Why were they hibernating while white men were presidents? But, American people decide to give a chance to a black person who had nothing to show for and the became the lazarus moment for the underground racism that is in America's DNA. Until when, Ms Palin, are you going to abuse our patience?

Oh! oh! This media whore went after Barbara Bush and called them blue bloods? YOU are hurting the nation bimbo. Get lost.
Is this woman delusional? She really and truly needs to have her head examined before it explodes. She is against everything that she herself does. DOES ANYONE SEE THE HYPOCRISY OF THIS WOMAN? "With all due respect because I love the Bushes, the blue-bloods who want to pick and choose their winners instead of allowing competition."
She who was all over the lower 48 and at home (except she lost BIG there!) trying to tell people who to vote for and those American values that she knows nothing about because she has no self respect or integrity. The only difference is that she is a trailer trash hillbilly with no education or common sense. A nobody until two years ago! Has it been that long???
MY GOD THIS MADNESS HAS TO STOP!!!!!!!!!!! SHE IS EVERYTHING THAT IS WRONG WITH THE NATION AND THE WORLD. SELF PROCLAIMED IMPORTANT BRAIN DEAD PEOPLE WHO THINK SO HIGHLY OF THEMSELVES THAT IT'S SICKENING!!!
THANKS mcnasty AND THE MEDIA FOR BRINGING HER TO THE FOREFRONT AND KEEPING HER THERE!!!

Bush and Palin are the same beast. Both families are total tools of CORPORATE America. Clearly. Both are out of touch with democracy and are part of the ruling elite much as they don't pretend to be. Palin, a tool of the far right and Bush a tool of BIG OIL. So really they are the same.

By the by Half-Wit, why would you even consider running for President of a country your husband wants to secede from?

This is one of the multitude of reasons why you're a duplicitous, lying, opportunistic, hate-spewing, divisive political and media whore.

I'd personally like to know what it is about the United States of America that your husband hates so much that he'd like to secede from the union? HOWEVER, he doesn't hate it enough to NOT take all the money you're raking in from all of those God-fearin'-country-lovin Amerikuns, huh? Does Todd have a job, by the way, or is he content mooching off of you while you mooch off of Americans?
How on earth did McCain decide to run for VP someone whose husband belongs to a secessionist group?

Now what was that you were saying about the First Lady of the United States?

That was pretty catty of the former first lady. Palin is right. She is part of the "old guard" that is looking more and more like a relic of America's past political history–"governmental nepotism".

More unflattering still is her implied intellectual arrogance which has reared its head since her own son occupied the White House. Her barb, however, does portend where the real fight for rule in America will take place: not among races or disparate economic groups but among those who believe they are superior intellectually and the mass of men and women who harbor no such pretensions.

I'm no fan of the former First Lady, but it seems between her and the current President, nobody has much use for the half-term, half-wit Ice Chip from Crack City, Alaska (a.k.a Wasilla).

Maybe if just once Sarah Palin could speak a complete sentence that was coherent, and didn't have a parenthetical or qualifier in it, just once, maybe then she could be taken seriuosly. In all the time she has been in the public spotlight (and it has been w-a-a-a-a-y too long), she has yet to make any sense!!!

Sarah payme, messing with the original mamma grizzly Barbara Bush isn't a smart idea.

"If her 2012 candidacy were hurting the Republican Party she would step aside".
Yeah right she would step aside, not before lining her pockets with big fat checks and a plane full of new clothes from those wealth Republican donors who think she is winking at them. I don't mind her being a quitter if only she would do so quietly. Thanks John McCain, so thankful that you unleashed this no know nothing loudmouth on the nation.

BTW aging ex-beauty queen – your double chin is showing. You need to nip and tuck that also. It will keep you from the limelight and give us a break, but it's either now or as you get older and uglier and you lose your "appeal" to those who can't take Viagra.

  23. Palin Power

Sarah Palin will purge and cleanse the evil taint of the Bush family and save the GOP once and for all. Sarah Palin has more power than the entire Bush Clan and she will be our greatest President ever. She will put both Bushes to shame for they are totally inferior to her.

Palin actually thinks that the people who show up at her speeches and rally's are the "real America" and that she has a chance in helll of winning. This woman is truly dislusional and thinks people trust her and know what she is doing...in realityi she is a fool...and Laura Ingraham a bigger fool, but they prove it every day...I do hope she runs...I do hope she runs, we need some comic relief in this country and a Palin GOP run would be rich....
