Palin delivers a gaffe-filled message

(CNN) - In a Thanksgiving message, Sarah Palin made fun of the president, herself and one of her favorite targets, the media.

Thursday's Facebook post came on the heels of a mistake she made on conservative Fox News anchor Glenn Beck's radio show earlier this week. She mistakenly referred to America's ally, North Korea instead of South Korea, a story many in the media covered quickly.

"It seems they couldn't resist the temptation to turn a simple one word slip-of-the-tongue of mine into a major political headline," Palin wrote. "The one word slip occurred yesterday during one of my seven back-to-back interviews wherein I was privileged to speak to the American public about the important, world-changing issues before us."

She said her gaffes receive more attention than those made by the president and vice president. In honor of the claimed-disparity she titled the post "A Thanksgiving Message to All 57 States," a reference to a mistake President Obama made on the campaign trail in 2008.

The former Alaska governor dedicated the first paragraph of the post to almost a dozen slips of the tongue by Obama.

"I didn't have enough time to do one for Joe Biden," she wrote.

Palin also chastised the media for creating stories "out of thin air."

"Let's hope that perhaps, just maybe, they might get it right next time. When we the people are effective in holding America's free press accountable for responsible and truthful reporting, then we shall all have even more to be thankful for!"

This woman is a gaff fest. Sjhe better get used to it since it will only get worse. Better yet since she's now made herself enough money since quitting she can retire. How anyone can think a 1/2 term govenor from a state of 500k people could be considered as leader of the free world needs to take their pill and have a nap.

Mrs. Palin can market herself very well, but she has no concept of domestic or foreign policy and could not govern the small town of Edison, Ohio.

The difference is that Obama is a graduate of Columbia and Harvard Law. He was editor of the Harvard Law review. When he makes a gaff, everyone knows it is a gaff. Sarah is a noted idiot who attended 6 different undistinguished school and it is unclear that she ever really graduated from any of them. When she makes a gaff, a thinking person must really was one.

In Palin's world, it's always the lame stream media. You would think by now she could invent something else to blame for her shortcomings.

She's just a nasty, trashy person. She would sound a little more credible if she wasn't so defensive. It makes her seem so insecure and paranoid.

And doesn't she realize she gets so much attention for stuff like this because she trashes the media all the time? If course they are going to capatlize on any opportunity they can to make her look bad.

The others may have a slip of the tongue; Sour Palin suffers from a slip in brain matter. I saw the footage when Obama said 57. It was perfectly clear to me that he was referring to the 57 stops he had made up to that point, not 57 states. Even their gaffes make more sense than what she tries to pass off as 'knowledge'.

And..."holding America's free press accountable for responsible and truthful reporting"...? Practice what you preach. You want to be in the public eye? Then be responsible and truthful and expect to be held accountable for what comes out of your LYING mouth. And for Pete's sake, STOP WHINING like a little schoolgirl.

If they told the truth, they'd admit they only follow you around because you're a train wreck. People watch to see what idiocy comes out of your mouth and to guess what size implants you "don't" have.

"Let's hope that perhaps, just maybe, they might get it right next time. When we the people are effective in holding America's free press accountable for responsible and truthful reporting, then we shall all have even more to be thankful for!"

The paid POX News commentator should take her own advice, especially when refudiating the media regarding a conversation she had with another paid POX News commentator. One slip of the tongue does not make for a slippery slope, but her history with governance and the media screams she's an avalanche waiting to happen.

  17. Right on, Sarah!

More idiocy from the left about that ONE slip-up. Heck, THEY have slipped up on their ENTIRE agenda for our country - which is awful, pitiful, and disgusting.

Sarah always says it exactly like it is. Right on, girl!

    Not True at all.

Palin told Chris Wallace:"President Obama could Win Re-Election, If he Bombed Iran"

Good thing she doesn't consider Faux News part of the media.

It hurts to even imagine how any reasonable person could consider this person as a legitimate candidate. I wouldn't even let her be the secretary of the PTA.

So because Couric asked a seemingly Innocent question of a person who thirty days before had never been heard of in the lower 48, she has a liberal agenda? This passes for reason and logic?

And to think some folks want this women talking to world leaders. So if Medvedev or Kim Jon Il say something she doesn't like what will be her response? I shudder to imagine.

I would ask Ms. Palin, aren't those you chastise here (media), simply acting within their rights? I mean isnt a FREE press Free to write what they choose? And also, I note that you stated on Hannity that you wouldnt do an interview with Couric (and I'm not really a fan of hers either). Isnt that sort of a way that you are trying to control the press and what is reported about you? Isnt the real truth closer to that you simply want to determine what the truth is (and thus spin in a positive light- as opposed to a honest light) before the news is even delivered? Sorry Ms Palin, but personally I think you are not worthy of the news you get, but then, Im not a news organization either. And lastly, lets get this straight, fox claims to be fair and balenced, but is truley neither! The reality is that the socalled left wing media is much more fair and balenced than fox will ever be.

If it´s easy for the press to point out her "Gaffes " it´s because there are so many of them .
The lie of the "Liberal Press" being against her is old and worn out . I wish her and her "Minions"
would quit referring to it . Only her and McDonnell had a problem with it .
