(CNN) Rep. Charlie Rangel, D-New York, asked the House for "fairness" Thursday in imposing a punishment on him for ethics violations.
"Nobody has ever suffered the humiliation of a censure when ... (the ethics committee) found no evidence at all of corruption," Rangel said.

Charlie, take your punishment like a man, not like a spineless jellyfish like Ensign or Vitter.
OK, fairness would be handcuffed, perp walked and jailed for years. I am ALL for fairness you crook!
Charlie, you sound pathetic. You stand in the corner, get told "Bad Charlie, don't do that Charlie" then go and have a beer. You got caught on eleven counts, take your "punishment" and drop a set.
Anyone else in this country would be in jail.
Oh Please – we'd be in jail! fairness? Really?
They said they have the proof, without question, Mr. Rangel. Perhaps your hearing is suffering from age.
Fairness – How about resign and go to Jail like every average citizen that doesn't pay their taxes.
You are a criminal Charlie, plain and simple.
A few years in prison would be appropriate IMHO, but I don't suppose the committee has that authority.
Oh well! I guess the GLOVE FIT – so they couldn't ACQUIT!!!
What a pathetic, remorseless THIEF!
