(CNN) - In a battle between former President George W. Bush and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, Bush comes out on top.
His memoir "Decision Points" has maintained its number one spot on the New York Times hardcover nonfiction bestseller list for the third week in a row, leaving Palin's new book, "America by Heart" second on the list released this weekend.
Both politicos have toured the country promoting their books. Bush has appeared on nearly every major television channel and Palin is in the midst of a 16-stop national book tour.
Palin's publisher, Harper Collins would not release sales figures, but did say they have printed 1 million copies of her new book. The former 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee's first book, "Going Rogue" sold well over 2 million copies and was number one on the New York Times list for six consecutive weeks.
According Random House, Bush's publisher, almost 2.5 million copies of his book are currently in print. Sales of the book now total 1.5 million copies when hardcover, e-book, audio books, large print editions and export edition sales are included.
But there don't seem to be any hard feelings on Palin's part for her number two book status. She tweeted Thursday saying, "just heard America By Heart is #2 NYT bestseller list behind Pres.Bush's good book, so thanks for sharing inspiration."

Bush's book is fiction and lies. Palin had another book title but the editor's agreed that "America by Brain" was not Palin's strong point. These two stooges are very similar in that they both are just GOP puppets who will do anything their handlers say to help the rich get richer and keep the poor poorer. The are already in the history books as doofus one and doofus two.
What a choice. Dumb and dumber. Lies or more lies. They could not give me either book, but I might take them if I needed the paper to wrap fish or for something else.
Who are these two million people that either identify with Palin's intellectual level or want to find out how well she communicated lies to her ghost writer?
Printing one million means nothing at all when they are returned to the publisher unsold and are made into pulp. It's like saying I asked Santa for a million dollars but I was happy to get $5 from my grandmother. Who wants a book she did not write but had a ghostwriter pen after all?

It would be great if either of these individuals would read The Fallujah Scrolls. The spin kind of goes in the opposite direction.

Poor Palin, she's going to quit her book writing and just stay home counting her big dollars. Quitting when things aren't going her way is her version of a temper tantrum.
One thing is obvious, America's warm feelings towards the Palin's are not representitive of the hatefilled comments CNN allows under every article.
What is scary is that there are enough idiots in the United States that are buying books by these two idiots. Idiots looking for idiots. God create them and then unite them.
The reason is simple. More people are interested in reading about how Bush screwed up this country in eight short years than in how Palin would screw it up if she were elected. Even the tea bagging nitwits who buy her book know she's unelectable.

Who would ever think this country would miss President Bush so much? Can you please come back just for a couple years until someone else qualified to be President is available?

As much as I hate both of these low lives I'm glad bush is on top. Sarah will always have Murkowski waiting for her back in Alaska after her hand picked Miller, that lied, got beat by a write in. How embarrassing sarah! I wouldn't line my garbage can with either of their books.
Are their two faces more representative of the decline of America?
Shouldn't "Decision Points" be on the fiction shelf?
Also, shouldn't it be titled " Decider Points?
