Obama skips debt commission meeting

WASHINGTON (CNN) - President Obama did not attend a White House meeting Thursday with members of his own debt commission, irking some of the Democrats on the panel who were expecting a high-level push from the commander-in-chief to show that its comprehensive deficit reduction plan is being taken seriously by the White House.

"He should have at least dropped by," one Democratic member of the debt commission told CNN, speaking on the condition of anonymity because he wanted to speak more freely about the panel's private meeting.

If it's comprehensive deficit reduction they're looking for, then the tax cuts for the rich should be allowed to expire. The days of trickle down economics is over.

Congressional democrats are as out of touch as the GOP Baggers. It is a shame that Obama has had to work with these gutless wonders for two years.

Maybe he was elsewhere trying to figure out what the heck he's going to do about the situation we will face in January after you raise taxes (oops, I mean "stop not raising taxes") on each and every American in an attempt to punish the wealthy for being successful. Maybe that's where he was. Tee hee.

Obozo has been an empty suit since he was elected. Complete and total lack of leadership skills. What do you expect from somebody that voted "present" most of the time!! His feelings must still be hurt from all the criticism he is getting these days for the Obama Tax Cuts for the Rich!!

Oh puleeeze! The man is fed up with the bull$hit from his own clueless Party.
This latest stunt from Senate Democrats in regards to: The tax-cut deal, DADT ON HOLD, DREAM ON HOLD has probably got him pissed off to no end.
Rightfully so. Can't say that I blame him.
To get beat up by the opposition is one thing. But to have personal agendas within your own Party impeding the progress of the country as a whole is hard to swallow.
I'm with the President: SCREW THEM SIR!

Divide and conquer. Typical "new world order" fascist strategy, coming from the Republican playbook. . . .And we follow
    right along, like good lemmings.
