(CNN) - It turns out that Sarah Palin's next overseas trip won't be to England or Israel, as was widely reported Thursday.
CNN has learned that the former Alaska governor will be traveling to Haiti this weekend with Franklin Graham and his relief organization Samaritan's Purse.
They will be visiting a cholera clinic, among other stops.

Europeans pay more taxes then the US, its about 65% now, give or take a few percentage points. EXPERIENCE and GROW in KNOWLEDGE. That's so you don't shoot off your mouth, without any background. Does she think Haitti will offer more photo-ops? They certainly can't offer her more cash for her coffers, so somebody is feeding her a line that she is needed there; Todd maybe?. How many other ex Mayors are travelling to Haiti. Mayor Palin is a little late but she had to cram those high security book signings before making a trip that thousands with less money have made over the past few years to Haiti. The trips she is planning abroad are going to be the same as any other US citizen would make and she will have nothing to talk about that would be different from anyone else. She holds no office and has no inteleegence from the US Government that she can share. Who elected her to go and make a fool of herself and the US in other countries ? Mayor Palin is just an unemployed citizen with enough money to travel which is not really news

When I read the headline, my heart raced and a smile came over my face. Then I learn she is not moving to Haiti, my smile is gone.
