Moody's warns on tax cut deal

Moody's is the latest to warn that the tax deal could imperil the United States' fiscal position.

The rating agency said in a report Monday that last week's agreement between the White House and congressional Republicans should bolster economic growth in the next two years – but at the expense of the nation's already perilous budget position down the road.

..and you think the GOP cares one rat's you know what about that??? All they care about is the NOW tax cuts for their benefactors. In 2 years, theyll be crucifying Obama as ballooning the budget while being complicit in it's growth

There may be a small boost to the economy, but as most products sold by Wal-Mart and its ilk are made overseas, I'd estimate that at least 7 of 10 jobs created by this tax cut stimulus plan will be created overseas.

Going back to Reagan's starve-the-monster idea is an option that sounds really good to me.

Precisely. The tax cut "deal" is nothing but runaway governmental spending that exceeds any and all benefits of the tax cuts themselves.

Further, extending unemployment benefits again, will simply cause the government to continue to do NOTHING, to create jobs!

It's a terrible "deal" that benefits no one but Obama's desire to SPEND!

Of course it will be negative "down the road"......that is IF Obambi and Congress continues spending but that is why the American "kicked the bums out" in the last election. There MUST be and end to entiltlements and all this loose spending the Liberal Dems have been doing. That will mean that people like T'sha from Virgina and othe Liberal Dems will have to go to work because their government check will end under Republican rule....JUST LIKE WHEN CLINTON LOST MIDTERMS!
