Senate Dems confident over START

Washington (CNN) - On Friday, Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman John Kerry said the Senate is prepared to vote on a nuclear arms treaty with Russia.

"We are certainly prepared to move for a vote," he said on the Senate floor. "I want to emphasize that there are no amendments from colleagues on the Democratic side. We are prepared to vote on this treaty ... We will take any amendment at any time."

Republicans are not into national security. Isn't it funny that the repubs need a big two week break at Christmas because they have been putting in solid 15 hour work weeks. Elected republicans are the true lazy ass welfare scam artists.

Can any one who is sane in the GOP tell the lazy republican senators to get some help for the 9-11 first responders?

Can anyone who is sane in the Democrat party tell the 99'ers that instead of another 13 months of unemployment, they might have to take a job that isn't as good as the one they used to have? And while you're at it. can anyone who is sane in the Democrat party do something to get the government the hell out of the way of American entrepreneurial spirit and do something to create an environment that encourages job creation?

    Just askin....
