(CNN) – The White House isn't weighing in yet on a recent interview with Jimmy Carter during which the former president proclaimed America is ready for an openly gay president.
"I haven't asked," White House press secretary Robert Gibbs told reporters when questioned about whether President Obama agrees with Carter's recent comments.
An incredulous reporter pressed: "You mean to tell me that nobody talked to the president here about Jimmy Carter's comments. It hasn't come up?"
"I mean to tell you that nobody I know of has talked to the president about Jimmy Carter's comments," Gibbs replied.
Carter's initial remarks came last week in an interview with the website "The Big Think," during which he was asked if a substantial number of Americans would vote for a gay president.
"The answer is yes," he said. "I don't know about the next election, but I think in the near future. Because step by step, we have realized this issue of homosexuality has the same adverse and progressive elements as when we dealt with the race issue."

Unfortunately, the answer is "no" and it will be for a long time. A gay candidate could have all of the knowledge and experience that the job needs, but won't get a fair shake based on bigotry. When it comes right down to it, there are far too many knuckle-dragging idiots in this country...

Does Gibbs want to weigh in on the possibility of a Mormon Prez? I doubt it. But America is absolutely ready.
They need to work an a cure for this genetic defect, rather than promoting it as a normal condition. I'm only using their own words, "they were born this way," and they themselves say it is a genetic defect. So spend your time finding a cure rather than pushing it into everyone's face as a "normal" condition.
Jimmy Carter is such an embarrassment to this country. He epitomizes the looney left. He was a mega-disaster as President and has only gotten worse since leaving office. Between him and Obozo, they have the title of worse American President safely in hand.
This country DOES owe them some thanks though. Without their ignorant statements, most of America would not know these sorts of dangerous leftists inhabit this country and work for its downfall.

Maybe a gay as Head cook, Head waiter, Head interior designer,Head usher,
Head nurse, Head seamstress, Head hair designer, or even HEAD MASTER.

It doesn't matter what the orientation of the person is. There will be someone who dislike the person for some reason. The question is: will the person do a good job as president and be a credit to the country. Could this person advance the interests of the country to help us as a country survive and prosper? If the answer is yes, then we get into more detailed questions. Technically, if the person was born here and over the age of 35, then they technically could be president if they get all the votes.
