Key aide departs Palin world

(CNN) - Sarah Palin is losing a key member of her inner circle.

Lawyer Tom Van Flein is departing Palin's world to work for incoming Arizona Rep. Paul Gosar, according to Gosar's office.  The Anchorage Daily News first reported the story Monday.

"I am pleased to have Tom Van Flein, with his experience and background, help me in D.C. with my District issues and the issues facing our country," said Gosar. "As one of my trusted advisers, I look forward to working with him in Washington and ensuring that we listen to the American people and work to uphold the principles that make this country great."

Van Flein is among only a handful of advisers with regular access to Palin, having served as both a legal, political, and media adviser to the former Alaska governor as she has navigated the political waters since her debut on the national stage in 2008. His is certain to leave a big hole in Palin's circle, especially as the former vice presidential nominee considers gearing up for a presidential election bid.

"Rep. Gosar is getting a wise, experienced and principled hand that will help him hit the ground running. Along with millions of Americans, I will be watching the new freshman class shake up D.C." Palin said in a statement.

Gosar was among the Republicans Palin endorsed ahead of the midterm elections.

"The mid-term elections represent a tectonic shift," said Van Flein. "I want to work with Rep. Gosar because he is committed to Arizona, and he is committed to making government more efficient, and our country more independent from its reliance on foreign energy and natural resources."

Dear CNN, why is it that lately the first post of the ticker is always about Sarah Palin? That article about Palin thinking the tax deal was "lousy" was on top for a couple of days, then the Palin Disses Michelle Obama, now another Palin story about an aid leaving, all at the top of the ticker. You all at CNN must be in love with her considering the constant inane coverage you give her. Please stop.....

He won't the the only one who bails on her. The recent public opinion polls show she is fading and perhaps faster than anyone expected.

Would it be too much to ask for the CNN ticker to spend time covering other Republican presidential hopefuls in addition to the one who is least qualified and who has the lowest chance of winning the Presidency based on her sky-high unfavorable ratings?

Belief in an age of skeptics.
While the world sleeps nad the church age ending, we are rapidly approaching the end of time.
But the most important event that this world has experienced is only five months away.

This is a very serious matter; I'm sorry.

Sarah Palin "Biggest Liar of 2008,2009 and 2010" us hardly a resume for POTUS. The media has sucked so many into believing that the former mayor will make a run for the Whitehouse. She is in a unique position as everytime she speaks she looses more supporters and she has nothing that will increase her approval. Do you know anyone in the world that says " I am starting to finally like Sarah Palin", I highly doubt it. She has a little base and it will never go beyond that, in fact her base is starting to see the truth that she will nevr ever run for POTUS.You would be hard pressed to find anyone in the recent political arena in the past thirty years that is hated more then Sarah. She will never gain more support then her little base, she has no chance at any support beyond the extreme far right and that will never get anyone into the primaries let alone any further. It is a waste of time to keep the fantasy going that she might one day be POTUS. There are far more important issues the a celebrity possibly running for the highest office in the land

I have decided today is my last day ever to log onto politicalticker.blogs & cnn.com. Every single day there are at least 2 or 3 new Sarah Palin stories. I refuse to call them news articles. CNN is obsessed with Sarah Palin. Obsessed! So since I am going to be inundated daily with Sarah Plain "news" whether I want it or not, starting today I am switching to FoxNews.com. Way to go CNN! Can you dummy up your news-less website anymore than you already have?

Missy better start wearing her hair down so the second chin is not so prominent and perhaps she should be listening to Michelle Obama instead of bashing her about children's diets.

Who really cares who the half-term governor employs to keep her informed of the world's events. She makes stuff up and spins everything to fit her bizarre perspective anyway.

Tea Party Queen, every day, several times a day. She even has her own category on the left side of the ticker. And now you're pairing up with the tea party for a debate? Have you wondered, of late, why your tv ratings have dropped? Shoving a grifter in our face day in and day out and pairing up with the right wing lunatic fringe of the Republican Party, bought and paid for by corporate America, could be two of the reasons. Spreading right wing propaganda from the Republican Noise Machine could be another. Most trusted name in news? Not by a long shot, sadly, anymore.
