I feel the lame duck has performed better than the regular congress. Is there a way to make every congress lame duck permanently?

This New Year's Eve we have something worthwhile to celebrate. In the first week we will welcome a House of Representative that actually will represent the American people and the good of the nation and not just the wishes of the Administration and political special interest groups. Under the leadership of Speaker Boehner we will see legislation that actually delivers results and not just votes. If Obama continues to work with them he will contiinue to enjoy the fruits of his efforts there.

Even with all of the obstruction and political games, the 111th Congress accomplished equal pay, 9/11 Responders Bill, student loans, G.I. Bill, health care, START treaty, hate crimes legislation, finance reform, repeal DADT, food safety, etc.

    Great job!

Never has so much been done for the good of the people by the House of Representatives. Thanks, Nancy, your leadership will be missed, until the American people realized what a major mistake they made, and vote the democrats back into power in 2012.
