New Jersey mayor uses Twitter to clear Newark streets

Newark, New Jersey (CNN) - Cory Booker has added social media to his arsenal of snowplows as the active Newark, New Jersey, mayor helps get his city dug out from several feet of snow from this week's storm.

Booker is using Twitter to communicate directly with residents to help get roads cleared and people who are stuck in the snow some assistance.

    This mayor is getting involved with his constituency that every rear when all every politicians thinks that mingling with the common folks will let you loose your prestige, thats is a great thing people will remember this act.

    Who cares where his is? It is the job of all the state union employees to plow and get the snow cleared up. Have they never seen snow in NJ? Are the state workers too dumb to know what they have to do??
