Washington (CNN) - John Boehner will be sworn in Wednesday as the new House Speaker, but his congressional aides were sworn in Tuesday morning by Chief Justice John Roberts in a private ceremony in the Capitol.
According to a senior Boehner aide, the incoming Speaker requested that the Chief Justice perform the swearing in for his aides, and attended the ceremony.
Boehner will take the oath as Speaker on Wednesday afternoon.

Repeal the Obama health care bill, replacing it with Republican proposals, including limits on malpractice lawsuits.

It is amusing that republicans oppose the health care bill and yet they support every single individual part of the health care bill. If you ask a republican they will say sure, they want to repeal the health care bill all together. But if you ask them whether they support elliminating the provision about the medicare donut hole, the extension of health insurance to minors, the many, many subsidies to the seniors and their doctors, you can watch them waiver! Why? BECAUSE THOSE WERE IN THEIR OWN ALTERNATE HEALTH CARE PROPOSAL TOO!!! They are just sorry they didn't get credit for them! So instead they want to turn the whole thing upside down, 'prove' the health care law doesn't work by defunding it (of course it won't work if you defund it, but then it's just a self-fulfilling profecy, it didn't fail on its own merrits) only to re-propose the VERY SAME provisions as if it was their idea in the first place!
