Today's Ticker articles ought to make many a GOPer presidental hopeful extremely happy. Can't have too much political coverage to keep the funds flowing into their personal PACs. Ought to see a great deal more positive coverage on the 112th Congress than ... say ... the previous 111th Congress, yes?

Yay, at least the lying, corrupt democrat liberals do not control the HR anymore, going to take another 2 years to blast them out of the Senate and the White House. It is a shame that the HCR repeal will be vetoed. I have yet to hear what it will do for me, a responsible, hard working, tax payer. So far the only affect is the cost of my insurance has gone up to take care of the Obama supporters that spend all their money on drugs, don't work because they have an NEA education and spend all day collecting the Obama entitlements and listening to Oprah tell the world how great a president a Kenyan village idiot can be.

This Congress is NOW is SESSION!!!! It's time to investigate, prosecute and issue jail time for the Obama administration and the “zars” Obama appointed, the American people waited for the new Congress, start putting the people in this administration in prison. In 1994 historians say the Democrat loses was a slaughter; the 2012 election cycle is going to be a massacre.

    Let’s review
    higher unemployment
    higher taxes
    higher home foreclosure rate
    tax evading Democratic Party
    tax evading Obama administration
    the “Porkulus” Spending bill
out of control budget / no budget
    health care reform disaster
4 terrorist attacks in the USA since Obama took office
Oil spill disaster in the Gulf

  9. Democrats Class Warfare - Destroying the economy and country

Let the battle to reclaim America from the leftists BEGIN!!! Cut all the insane spending before this country goes bankrupt. Repeal Obozocare and enact REAL reform, not a gigantic new government entitlement costing trillions that we don't have.

It is going to take YEARS to repair all the damage the leftists did over the last 2 years.

It'll be sooooo nice to not have to listen to the insane Peloser any more! Did you hear her insane comment about the Democrats being so deficit and debt conscious???!!! The woman is certifiably INSANE!

2011 is off to a GREAT START!!!

Let the GOP's cartoon version of "governance" commence...freekin tapdancing looney tunes farce of political gamesmanship, avoiding the issues and holding stilted, biased kabuki theater hearings to withchunt for wafer thin bases for impeachment (they know they're in trouble in 2012 in terms of the WH) and to generate, kangaroo-court-style legislative records they believe rationalize and justify what reallky amount to predetermined conclusions they have already reached. Issa already just sent letters out to hundreds of businesses in which he pretends to be asking for their input in analyzing new regulations from 2010, but prefaces the entire letter with his already-reached-conclusion that the new regulations directly caused thousands of job losses (i.e., such a conclusion should be the result of the evidentiary hearings, not the pre-determined conclusion that forms the basis for them...and let alone the fact that such a conclusion completely ignores the likely supervening affect of a massive recession).

Seriously. It's all a joke and intended to cave in the nation's institutions and the federal government by generating toxic levels of irony. They put Shimkus in charge of the Climate Change Denial Committee (the guy read the Bible out loud in a hearing as proof that climate change can only be the work of God). Bachman on the Anti-Intelligence Committee. Peter King in charge of the Islamaphobia and Insecurity Committee. Issa in charge of the Withchunts Division. Barton in charge of the Big Oil Apologies Committee. Do you not see the pattern? Is nobody in the "liberal" media going to show ANY journalistic integrity by discussing and analyzing the fact that the GOP has obvious and purposefully organized the House to tear everything down?

Now the government can get on with legislation that actually delivers what it is supposed to. America will learn to expect more than just false promises. We sent in a team for results.

Let the games begin! The house Republicans will band together to try to undo everything the Democrats accomplished and the Democrats will band together to stop them. Then, in 2012, they'll point fingers at one another to lay blame. In the meantime, nothing will get done.

Let's see, the stock market is up over 40% in two years, we have had 12 straight months of private sector job growth, 297,000 jobs last month. Consumer spending is all the way back to pre-recession levels. We are wrapping up operations in Iraq and putting ourselves in a position to do so in Afghanistan. More significant legislation has been passed than in any two year period in decades, despite the most obstructionist Senate minority in the history of the United States (number of filabusters).

What are the chances that the GOP screws this all up?

  14. Lost in Texas FOREVER

although I did not vote for nor support any of the new GOP house members, I'm going to try and have an open mind and give these folks a chance to see if they can get anything done. If they can continue keeping the country going in the right direction or even BETTER, then I'll gladly eat crow and my hat's off to them. But if they are going to be like the GOP of the 90's or worse I'll be more than happy to gloat an "I told you so" to all my right wing buddies, and I DO have quite of few of them here in Texas.
