(CNN) - It was a moment on the House floor Wednesday that instantly made for a powerful photograph – newly installed House Speaker John Boehner clearly weeping as Democrat Nancy Pelosi gets ready to hand the gavel over.
Interestingly however, only two of the major, national papers featured this memorable and unique photograph in their Thursday editions, and they both happen to share one thing in common – conservative media mogul Rupert Murdoch.
Murdoch's NewsCorp owns both the New York Post and the Wall Street Journal – the only two big papers to highlight the teary-eyed Republican. Other major papers like USA Today, the New York Times, the Washington Post, and the Los Angeles Times featured the more conventional image of Pelosi handing Boehner the speaker's gavel.
A picture - or maybe lackthereof - can speak a thousand words…
This guy isn't emotionally ready to hold any high position.
He's such a cry baby...and today our elected officials in congress are earning their salaries by sitting still and listening to someone read aloud a document we all studied in junior high social studies class before voting to do something that will INCREASE the deficit by BILLIONS. Epic failure already!
Oddly enuf this would be a situation where most folks would have a hard time holding it together and it is entirely understandable to me that any man would have been a little misty. Having said that, him sitting next to his wife on 60 Minutes weeping is NOT acceptable!!
He's is such a fruad. Anyone see that he only cries about things that happen or are directly affect him. You think you would see this fraud crying at a homeless person or anyone less fortunate than him.
