Washington (CNN) - Politics is serious business - but not all the time. From the halls of Congress to the campaign trail to the international stage, there's always something that gets a laugh or a second glance.
Quite an expensive investment ...
Arnold Schwarzenegger - bodybuilder turned actor turned politician - says his time as California's governor cost him at least $200 million, Reuters reports.
...... and he's still ugly and not very smart - ha ha ha ha
But then, that happens a lot doesn't it.
If so, he`ll be the first politician leaving office whose net wealth dropped.
That's what he gets for trying to help save a state full of nutty union controlled Democrats! Lost his wealth, lost years of his life, insulted, chewed up and spit out. Bottom line is you can't save people who refused to be saved. California will have to completely collapse with Governor Moonbeam and then maybe, MAYBE, they'll be ready to get serious about saving the state.
I am glad to hear he is the better for that experience. California is certainly better off because of Gov. Schwartzenegger's public service. Unfortunately I don't expect Gov. Brown to have the will to stand up to powerful special interest groups like the teachers union. If not, we will be dealing with a brutal financial crisis and no, we have not seen what that is yet. California is still the greatest state in the country and I hope sometime we can find worthy politicians to manage it with competence and effectiveness.
