Washington (CNN) - As he drove to a Dunkin' Donuts in Nashville early on Election Day 2000, Bill Daley's reputation for being the calmest guy in the middle of a crisis was being severely put to the test.
It was 6:30 a.m., and Daley had just picked up Don Baer, a last-minute addition to Vice President Al Gore's campaign to help with communications strategy, at his hotel. They decided to get a cup of coffee on their way to Gore's campaign office to begin fueling up for what could be a long night of waiting for election returns.
Finally a mature adult in the Whitehouse. I just hope all these Chicago characters inhabitating the Whitehouse leave their corrupt Chicago style politics back in Illinois. The first two years was not good. Hopefully they learned their lesson on Nov. 2. Oh yeah, wait a minute, the problem was the American people and the lack of our ability to grasp their message. Oh well, time will tell.
We hope Daley will stay honest...unlike Andersen Cooper who had to denfend himself numerous times against breaking his own slogan-rules.....Cooper thinks that by being ovey aggressive will somehow make himself more appealing....So:
"Who is keeping Andersen Cooper honest"...?
dailey will help obama alot... one reason obama is in trouble with the people is that he got no help from the jerks the he had around him....
Another Wall Streeter? I'm concerned.
