Why America is growing tired of Palin

Editor's note: Gloria Borger is a senior political analyst for CNN, appearing regularly on CNN's "The Situation Room," "AC360°," "John King, USA" and "State of the Union."

Washington (CNN) - OK, you've got Palin fatigue. Not to worry. So does much of the country: The latest CNN poll shows that 56 percent of Americans view her unfavorably.

More damaging, though, is this: Sarah Palin's unfavorable rating among women has gone up 10 points. And 59 percent of those all-important independent voters don't like her - and that's up a stunning 14 points in just a few months.

Finally a palin article worth clicking on. She will ALWAYS be unfavorable with my family and I. Only with the 1% of hillbillies will she be a rising star. She is and will ALWAYS be trash and she will forever be linked to the Arizona shootings. Please take this trash off your website and report on people who really want to help the American people. I for one look forward to hearing she no longer dwells on the face of the earth. That would be worth reading.

I am tired of Palin for many reasons. The first is that she isn't aware of what is coming out of her mouth is not intellignet. This isn't to say that I say great things everyday. It just seems that she is so often wrong and clearly only welcoming to people who are ideologically similar. She seems to stand for those that are only one way and think that everyone should their way despite the fact they are wrong.

Goodness, CNN, there isn't a single day that goes by that Palin isn't headlined in a CNN article, not a single day.

Could it be that people are tired witht he liberal media's infatuation with this woman? Listen, I am a conservative politically, I don't dislike Palin but she would never be my choice for President (neither is Obama).

But it is somehow laughable that meida like CNN just cannot get enough of Palin then you run a story that the public is tired of her.

You have done your job CNN. Your mission "is accomplished".

The liberal media has a lot in common with the human waste that is called Hollywood today.

Sarah Palin chose the word 'Rogue' for the title of her biography.
This is what the word means in the dictionary:
A deliberately dishonest person; a cheat.
To wander; to play the vagabond, to destroy.
A renegade that took off from that persons duties, regardless of the dangers of doing so.
    An unreliable person.
Vicious and solitary (this one applies to elephants)
Large, destructive, unpredictable, operating outside normal controls.
    To defraud.

if nothing else shouldn't this tell you guys at CNN that most who view the Politcal Ticker are tired of her as well? The daily Palin lead ins and coverage here just so it can get 300 responses on average has gotten way past going overboard. The same folks that post to slam her say nothing new nor do the ones that come here to defend her. Time to move on CNN

The more she talks, the more obvious it is that she is cute and bubbly but not very bright. She repeats the same phrases over and over. Criticizes Obama for using a modern teleprompter (as if it's something foreign) and then reads from the "redneck" teleprompter on her hand. She couldn't remember 3 or 4 words? It's impossible to quote her because her sentences make no sense. She QUIT her job as governor! Good grief! How does anyone take her seriously? She's a train wreck.

Yes, we are tired of hearing about her, don't read or listen to news stories – so media should move on to something in which we are interested!

Many of us tired of the "Wicked Witch of Wasilla" as soon as we heard her lame acceptance speech at the convention when McInsane trotted the " pig wearing lipstick" out in front of the American public. We saw right through the dumb&dumber routine with the "you betcha's" and the winks. An empty-headed skirt with nothing to offer and absolutely no class compared to Hillary. As soon as she opened up her mouth, stupid came out.
The sooner $arah goes away, the better for all of us.

Growing tired????? I was tired back in august of 2008!!! She doesn't knock. She is thrust upon us by cnn and other news sources who think we care!!! She is past toxic and I am glad that the media finally gets it!!!!! As a woman I am embarrassed that this bimbo even dares to say she represents us. She is an idiot. Women have more going for them. She is taking us back to the 17th century.

Considering that the media is obsessed with her and report every sniffle and splinter the woman has, yeah, I can see why people are growing tired of her. Ever a chart-topping song played over and over again becomes old after a while. It's time for the media to get a life and report on things of real substance.

And this poll was taken where? Inside the National DNC Headquarters? Call random numbers in mid-America and the approval rate will be much higher. The Elite on the two coasts don't relate to her. Hard-working middle-Americans do relate and very much approve of her.
