(CNN) - It's a turf war between Vice President Joe Biden and CNN's very own Wolf Blitzer, anchor of "The Situation Room." Sort of.
During an address to the Democratic retreat in Cambridge, Maryland Friday, Biden said he's heavily involved in the draw down of troops in Iraq and that "Wolf Blitzer isn't the real guy in the Situation Room," he is.
Biden said he's frequently in the war strategy room with President Obama's cabinet secretaries discussing how to help Iraqi leaders.
"Now is the time for us to bring to bear the expertise we have, at their invitation, to help them sustain the institutions that they have to build," Biden said.
But with all due respect to the vice president, Wolf Blitzer spends more time in "The Situation Room" than any high level government official. See for yourself - watch CNN's "The Situation Room" weekdays from 5 p.m. ET until 7 p.m. ET. That's two hours a day, respectfully, Mr. Vice President.
Watch The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer weekdays at 4pm to 6pm ET and Saturdays at 6pm ET. For the latest from The Situation Room click here.
