(CNN) - It's a turf war between Vice President Joe Biden and CNN's very own Wolf Blitzer, anchor of "The Situation Room." Sort of.
During an address to the Democratic retreat in Cambridge, Maryland Friday, Biden said he's heavily involved in the draw down of troops in Iraq and that "Wolf Blitzer isn't the real guy in the Situation Room," he is.
Biden said he's frequently in the war strategy room with President Obama's cabinet secretaries discussing how to help Iraqi leaders.
"Now is the time for us to bring to bear the expertise we have, at their invitation, to help them sustain the institutions that they have to build," Biden said.
But with all due respect to the vice president, Wolf Blitzer spends more time in "The Situation Room" than any high level government official. See for yourself - watch CNN's "The Situation Room" weekdays from 5 p.m. ET until 7 p.m. ET. That's two hours a day, respectfully, Mr. Vice President.
Watch The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer weekdays at 4pm to 6pm ET and Saturdays at 6pm ET. For the latest from The Situation Room click here.
look like another incoherent lib can't understand the reallity
Wolfe is the greatest and he's in my living room more than VP Biden and I say this with all due respect to our great VP.
Biden was obviously making a wise crack ... you don't have to analyze it.
Biden is just afraid people will listen to Wolf more than they will listen to him, maybe if VP Biden would stop cracking jokes, mocking everything and taking things seriously as does Wolf Blitzer people would listen to him than VP Biden could stop picking on Wolf to make himself feel better and look better.
If the right wingnuts worked, and got a paycheck, they would know that taxes are the lowest in 50 years, since April 2009, it was the result of the stimulus.
Did you notice that right wingnut baggers thinks you do not pay for unfunded unnecessary wars? Start cutting spending by sending our troops home.
Love 'em both but Wolfe deals with situations (little s) wheras VP Biden deals with Siuations (bid S.) But the little "s" is important to me too.
I am sure that Vice President Joe Biden meant the Real situation room ...lol ha ha ... I love Biden but he needs better writers.
