Obama gives preview of State of the Union

(CNN)–President Barack Obama said jobs and the economy would be central to his upcoming State of the Union address in a videotaped preview of the speech that was sent to supporters on Saturday.

"My principal focus, my number one focus, is going to be making sure that we are competitive, that we are growing, and we are creating jobs not just now but well into the future," Obama said.

After he has given all our money away now he needs to recoup some credibility.

'Ooo, I am a republican hypocrite! I am outraged that under the first few months of the Obama administration we lost jobs due to the downward spiral the Bush administration got us into. It is clearly Obama's fault we haven't created enough new jobs to make up for that loss! The fact that Bush Jr. himself had a net loss of jobs during the first four years of his presidency due to a much more minor recession... well, that wasn't his fault. That too was somehow the democrats fault, even though republicans were completely in charge.'

TWO YEARS you've been saying (or lying) about doing something about jobs and the economy and have done nothing. 1) Right now and no matter what you say there's no logical reason to believe you based on anything verbal (actions only will do now). 2) IF you now do something about it after two years of not doing something then you purposely didn't do anything to do as you stated for the past two years.

Well, it might be his 'principal focus', but a lot of good that's going to do us. He can focus all he wants. The problem is he can't, and doesn't know how to deliver on that 'focus'. Oh well, at least the teleprompters will get a bit of a workout.

DID you know that if you sell your house after 2012 you will pay a 3.8% sales tax on it? That's $3,800 on a $100,000 home etc. When did this happen? It's in the healthcare bill. Just thought you should know.
SALES TAX TO GO INTO EFFECT 2013 (Part of HC Bill)
    REAL ESTATE SALES TAX
So, this is "change you can believe in"?
Under the new health care bill – did you know that all real estate transactions will be subject to a 3.8% Sales Tax? The bulk of these new taxes don't kick in until 2013 If you sell your $400,000 home, there will be a $15,200 tax. This bill is set to screw the retiring generation who often downsize their homes. Does this stuff make your 2012 vote more important?
Oh, you weren't aware this was in the obama-care bill? Guess what, you aren't alone. There are more than a few members of Congress that aren't aware of it either

Stop exporting jobs. Cut the salaries & perks see how much of future debt would be erased. I believe they shouldn't be able to vote to get a pay raise. Should be up to the VOTERS
