Angle won't rule out presidential run

(CNN) - Sharron Angle, the Tea Party-backed underdog who in last year's midterm election came close to defeating Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, may be setting her sights on another high profile political job.

Speaking at a premiere for a conservative Christian movie in Iowa Wednesday night, the Nevada Republican would not rule out a run for president, saying only, "I have lots of options for the future, and I'm investigating all my options," according to the Des Moines Register.

Angle was speaking to Iowa caucus-goers and grassroots workers who gathered for a sneak preview of "The Genesis Code," a film that "reconciles the Biblical account of Genesis with the scientific account of the origins of the universe," according to a press release.

But while the Tea Party favorite's presidential ambitions are far from certain, Angle has already signaled that she plans to play a pivotal role in the 2012 elections.

Angle announced plans last month for a political action committee (PAC) aimed at helping Tea Party candidates in 2012 races. Her "Patriot Caucus" will open offices in crucial presidential battleground states, including Iowa, New Hampshire, Florida and Nevada.

Rather obtuse of her not to rule out a presidential bid. She might do well to drop the whole virginal ingenue coyness act - especially at her age. It's a bit obscene, actually.

Please, CNN will you post he most inane ridiculous items? She couldn't even win Nevada in the most favorable onditions. How could she possibly think she could win enough states. Besides, Palin would have her blackballed is she gets in Palin's way.

This just in: Cookie Monster says that he may run for King of England. When it was pointed out that in order to be King one had to be royalty and that it was not an elected position, Cookie Monster spoke at length about his popularity with those of infantile intellects and that he has many options for his bright future and that he will explore them all. Further, he stated, "If I am not elected King, I will definitely be the one that makes the decision as to who will be King." Big Bird, who also has Kingly aspirations, could not be reached for response.

Please run. Please, please. With any luck at all, you can win, and help do away with any integrity the nation has left.

Good! She can get Cardinal Biggles for a running mate and a return to the conservative values of the Spanish Inquisition for a platform. What a gift.

Imagine all the campaign funds she can amass, win or lose.
same modus operandi as O"Donnell from Delaware. That is the new scam now, just run for office and the campaign contributions from suckers come in.

"Sharron Angle...came close to defeating Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid"

No she didn't. She lost by 5.6 points, which is really not that close.

Excellent. Palin, Bachmann, and now Angle. As soon as O'Donnell decides she's coming to the party too, the GOP will have no chance of beating Obama next year.

By the way CNN, I'm not ruling out a presidential run either. Write a story in the ticker about me.

Here we go again with Nut #3. The Three Stooges.... Palin (aka Nut #1), Bachman (aka Nut #2) and Angle (aka Nut #3). All three of them know they don't have a chance in hell of being President of the United States.

Haaaa!!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Haaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!! Jesus freak for President! Get in line behind Huckabee who looks like a liberal compared to you. Maybe in Nevada but........seriously? There is a larger population of intelligent people in the rest of the US than there. Remember the Christian Cooalition? Thanks Tea Bagger but, no thanks. This country was founded on principles emitting from the Age of Reason. A lot of people left Europe to evade governments controlled by the Church. Lets not take steps to undo what Our founding fathers worked so hard to attain. Look up Priestcraft – Thomas Jefferson railed against it.

If you can't beat Harry Reid in the Nevada Senate race you sure as hell can't be elected president Sharron. Start with something a little more suited to your intellectual capabilities-like village idiot.

Really CNN, it's not April. This is a total joke, right? This person Angle can not be serious in any sense of the word. She's loonier than Palin and Bachmann combined! What is it about these self-delusional, so-called 'conservative' women? Really. Can anybody tell me why these women are even considered interesting? They have no sense. They're irrational. They lie, quit, make things up, have no knowledge of history, the constitution, our form of government, our place in the world. Hell, they don't even know the rest of the world exists outside their own skulls! They're all total nut jobs.
