Washington (CNN) - President Barack Obama experienced a rare speaking stumble Thursday, mixing up Iraq and Afghanistan when responding in a YouTube interview to questions challenging the wars in those countries.
The president twice referred to Afghanistan when clearly talking about the situation in Iraq.
This will usually happen when he doesn't have his teleprompter.
Apparently he doesn't even know about current events. That's pretty bad.
and why isn't he looking at the camera! Amateur
What a clown! This is hilarious.
No teleprompter my friends!
If it was Palin, it would be on the front page of the NY Times and headlined on NBC, CBS, MSNBC, CNN....etc
There was probably no teleprompter
So? What's the problem. At least he can construct sentences any other time and not look like a fool. He had a gaff. That's NOWHERE near what some others have ALL the time...Beau Colby
I will take him gaffs and all against any of their top speakers anytime.
he is human as well !!!
Give him a break. Who doesn't slip up in a discussion every now and then? But the liberals sure demand perfection from Sarah Palin every time she gets interviewed. I don't expect that to change. She is upsetting their little world and that's what we want her to do. Their sniping, rudeness and insults come with the territory. We don't need to use those tactics.
Well, at least he pronounces nuclear right.
