(CNN) - Former Republican Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will give the keynote address in February at the Reagan Ranch Center honoring the 100th anniversary of the former president's birthday.
The two days of events in Santa Barbara, California are sponsored by the conservative Young America's Foundation.
"Young America's Foundation has been sharing the values of President Reagan with young people for over 40 years, and there is no organization more committed to preserving freedom's future," Palin said in a statement.
Her speech on February 4th will "draw parallels to today while calling for young people to continue the Reagan revolution into 2012 and beyond," according to the release.
Former Vice President Dick Cheney will speak at the end of the celebrations on Saturday February 5th.
The festivities will include panel discussions with Reagan authors, former Reagan administration officials and leaders of the Young America's Foundation.

Palin and Michael Reagan have been using President Reagan's name. In Sept. 2008, Michael said Palin was his dad in a skirt. I don't remember Mrs. Reagan agreeing.
Well it was so nice for a couple of days to have nothing on the ticker about category 5 moron Palin. Why can't this imbecile go back to Alaska and stay there and mind her own business. Also she should not be called former Governor Palin because she did not complete her term. She shouldn't be called anything having to do with politics. I never hear her called former mayor of whatever poor town in Alaska she was the mayor of.

They pick the most unqualified person to speech in Saran Palin. She the biggest Idiot in all of American. All she going to do is spread hate and racist and lie.
She didn't even know what state Reagan went to college. A travesty. The President can give a much better speech on Reagan the man than Palin ever can.
I am not a conservative, but even I could pick many different conservatives who would be better speakers and better represent the party at the Reagan celebration.
I think they picked her as she is a good example of the early stages of Altzheimers!
