This is refreshing. After throwing tens of billions of dollars at Fortune 500 companies and banks, now the Obama Administration is finally getting serious about economic recovery. Small business growth is the quickest way to pick ourselves up and bring unemployment down. Giving money to banks will not do it. Extending unemployment benefits will not do it.

Creating jobs is not important to the republicans. They are driven by abortion and health care repeal.

Meanwhile, the GOPers plan is to do . . . . . . . . . . . nothing. Beyond spending the next two years trying to repeal the Affordable Healthcare Act that is.

Not really. They plan to continue their attempt to try to pass a bill that will be the functional equivalent of banning abortion by removing any tax cuts whatsoever from any insurer who offers abortions AND they plan to pasa a budget that defunds everything they don't like and campaign for 2012 by demagoguing about the debt ceiling and trying to prevent it from being raised, which 100% MUST be raised in order to prevent a shutdown of the government. In other words, they plan to hold America hostage via the debt ceiling, get their way via the purse strings and harm women's rights by passing a nonsense domestic policy bill that will prevent people from getting abortions unless they can find an insurer who is willing to forgo all their tax cuts.

And before someone says "oh yeah, well, tax cuts for insurers are the equivalent of spending federal money on abortions"...that person better do a rethink unless they want to admit that by their own logic we just SPENT BILLIONS IN FEDERAL MONEY ON THE ULTRA WEALTHY.
