(CNN) – Mitt Romney’s “worst fears about the president have come true,” the likely presidential candidate writes in a newly released edition of his book, “No Apology.”
In the new paperback edition that appears perfectly timed ahead of a potential presidential bid, Romney writes the president’s policies are “smothering the American dream.”
“Rather than focusing his energy and political capital on solving the economic crisis, he exploited it to promote his extreme liberal agenda,’’ writes Romney, first provided to the Boston Globe.
Romney also takes the opportunity to jab the president’s health care plan, despite criticisms from some Republicans over a similar plan the former Massachusetts governor signed into law five years ago.
“They have enacted 2,000 pages of health care legislation, and while the politicians did not take the time to read it before they voted, small businesses will have no choice but to read and comply with every one of its new mandates and provisions,’’ Romney says.

He comes the two-faced lies. All I hear from the GOP is nit-picking. OMG. Can the message be any different – No. It is just another attack on the President. Just say you hate the President of the United States and get over it. Jeeez. The last 2 years have been filled with hyper-patisainship coming from the GOP. They are just like spoiled kids who did not get the toy they wanted. Can (or will) they simply grow up. There is a lot more to consider than yourself. Can you do any better in the big chair – judging by the last 2 years I know for a FACT NO. Our President is doing a great job and those who are on the sidelines are sacrificing progress for your own aspirations. That does not make a leader.

Unemployment extension because the guys with the large tax breaks aren't hiring – Check
Government programs to get shovel ready projects started – Check
Keeping the banks controlled by the major backers of the Republican Party from failing – Check
Trying to help people keep their homes – Check
Providing emergency services to people who are victims of natural catastrophies – Check
Trying to hold companies that cause man-made disasters accountable for their actions or non-actions – Check
Yep – that's a liberal agenda all right.
We must assume that Mitt's magic underwear is telling him all this, since it's obvious that we didn't fall into a depression after the GOP led us into financial crisis and from the way the economy is starting to come around and jobs are beginning to be created, all because of the policies the Obama White House has put into play. If Mitt wants to think otherwise, fine; but, lets not forget it was the GOP that got us into this mess, with 2 unpaid-for-wars and letting Wall Street and the banks run riot unchecked, while stopping unemployment for 100s of thousands. GOP = Greed Over People.

Oh, and Romney? The Patriot Act was how many pages long? And none of you read it before you passed it? The most unconstitutional law passed this century, and none of you are doing anything to get it tossed out, but that's how you work, isn't it? While Romney is probably the best the GOP can do, he is really going to have to come with a better line in regards to his stance on Health care. I mean if this is pretty much what he implemented as a Gov then he need to accept it and find a way to justify why he did it. Because the GOP candidates he will be running against are going to definitely let him have an ear full.

Romney is actually the only Republican with a chance of beating Obama in 2012. I said in 2008 that Romney was the only Republican with a chance to beat Obama, and I was right then too.
His Mormon religion and association with the health care bill will prevent him from winning the nomination. All his opponents in the GOP primary will have to do is run ads about "RomneyCare" and he'll be finished.
