Political Circus: will.i.am's halftime message to Obama

Tonight's (not) going to be a good night for ...

    "In America we need to get things straight / Obama, let's get these kids educated / Create jobs so the country stays stimulated."
    =============================================================================================
    You might start by getting YOUR HEAD SCREWED ON STRAIGHT! Getting kids educated is the job of the child, their parents and the teacher and school system at the local level. It is NOT the job of the federal government.

    And the only jobs the government "creates" are overpaid federal jobs that are OVERHEAD on the economy. People with REAL JOBS in the private sector have to work to pay the government taxes (half pay NOTHING!) to finance these "jobs".

    Typical libtard, let the government take care of me and my kids mentality. YOU are responsible for making YOUR life better.

    I like the Black Eyed Peas music but their Super Bowl performance was horrendous. I feel the same way about Obama. He is a really nice guy but his job as president is lacking at best. The Oreilly interview was humorous but to hear Obama outright deny he does not want to redistribute wealth via Obamacare further erodes his credability and goes back to my central issue with him of being truthful.

    Lashed out???? You are getting as bad as Fox. If he was singing about the importance of education, he would be lashing out at republicans.

    Obama doesn't get it......people don't hate him, personally, they hate his priorities, which are all wrong, and they hate the mess that was made of both major legislative bills passed......the ObamaCare, which is a complete disaster, and the financial overhaul, which left the door open for credit card interest rates at ANY level, with some banks now assessing as high as 79% interest on credit cards. Talk about incompetence!!!!

    The Dems have made such a mess of what they HAVE done, we pray they don't do ANYTHING else!

    that was such BS, first of all the Obama administration his improved college loan interest rates from 6.8% to 4.5%, and more students are graduating H.S and going to college. The half time show sucked by the way. What the hell does Tron have to do with BEPs and Football?!?!

    Oh puleeeze FOX, err, CNN. Where's the "slam" in what he sang? Everybody has laid their 'wish list' at the feet of this President. will.i.am DID NOT lash out at the President, au contraire, he is in line with the President's priority of heavily funding education (see SOTU address ) as he sees that our kids are underperfoming others globally.

    In so far as jobs, the President is THE ONLY one that has done anything to get Americans working. Please note that will.i.am's appeal WAS NOT directed at the GObP but instead to Obama the only person doing ANYUTHING about EVERYTHING.

    The GOPPLERS have voted against every job creating bill, so he may have been lashing out at them, as well. Republicans are not much into that there schoolin' stuff either, cuz they refer to educated individuals as liberal elitists. The ideal republican is dumb as a box of rocks, is against any legislation that moves our country forward, and will support only those bills that redistribute our wealth to the wealthiest Americans, along with those that repeal women's reproductive rights.

    In an earlier post, Gaylon B. wrote that he was tired of paying for lazy drunks. I feel the same way about John Boehner.

    @DC Insider:
    Us Obama supporters do not believe in kicking someone when they are down, we'll leave that to the "other" team.
    The current crop, and it's a ridiculously big one, of GOP Presidential runners is abysmally lacking in depth, gravitas, intelligence, and relevance. On the other hand it is overflowing with clowns, and national jokes.
    To throw President Obama's achievements in their face would be like a full-grown man beating up on a little kid: not fair.
    Thus our uncharacteristic silence, there's no need to point out the obvious.

    Since when is Will.I.Am a rocker? Maybe popstar meets psuedo rapper? But not a rocker. Get it right cnn, not that I expect you to differentiate between music genres.

    Fail. This is a great example of irresponsible journalism. The line in the song was one of encouragement, not criticism. In case you want to do a little research or get your head out of the sand, will.i.am is a huge supporter of President Obamas and was not calling him out publicly at the Super Bowl.

    The streak remains alive: Super Bowl Half-Time entertainmnet is limited to washed-up has-beens or talantless pop-tarts. This year was another pathetic demonstration of flash over substance. Pee-ew!

    My guess is that this idiot would have screwed up singing the national anthem, too. Where do they find theses maroons for the Super Bowl "entertainment"?
