Birthday present for Palin

Washington (CNN) - If members of the media are wondering what to get Sarah Palin on her birthday, they should look no further than the former Alaska governor's Twitter account.

Palin, who turns 47 today, wrote tonight "Media: ask "Will Obama Admin exert as much 'constructive' pressure on Iranian govt to change & allow freedom ~ as they just did for Egypt?"

Tonight isn't the first time Palin has criticized the Obama administration's handling of Iran. In December, Palin penned an op-ed in USA Today chastising the president's actions in halting Iran's nuclear program.

She wrote, "President Obama once said a nuclear-armed Iran would be "unacceptable." Yet, Iran's nuclear progress still continues unchecked."

This also isn't the first time the potential 2012 Republican presidential contender has weighed in on the unrest in Egypt. Palin told the Christian Broadcasting Network last week that the situation was Obama's 3 a.m. phone call, and that "It seems the call went right to the answering machine."

She went on to explain that she was "not real enthused about what it is that's being done on a national level and from (Washington) in regards to understanding all the situation there in Egypt."

Poor Sarah. Doesn't she realize that it is up to the Iranian people to do for themselves what the Egyptian people have done for themselves. It is not up to President Obama or anyone else in America to initiate this. She is just sooooooo out of touch. When is CNN going to quit giving her so much publicity. She is not worth it..........................Please Sarah, go away for America's sake.........

This woman is just plain PATHETIC.....! I think whats more pathetic are her supporters, for certain people to blindly follow and support such a challenged and troubled individual like Sarah Palin and then to make matters worse, these same pathetic followers want someone as childish and petty as Sarah Palin being POTUS is just plain INSANE.....!

If members of the media are wondering what to get Sarah Palin for her birthday.... then they have a fatal conflict of interest and shouldn't be covering her.

One minute this idiot complains about how Obama is handling the situation and now this? This uneducated, brain frozen pied piper of half-wit trailer trash needs to shut her pie hole and end her shallow little self promotion tour.....The American people have long since grown tired of it. Too bad CNN can't grasp that fact!

A slightly stupid question considering Egypt's military did not make moves against its people and Iran's military would burn their own people to ashes if a true revolt like this were to happen. But this woman could care less about thinking out a problem from beginning to end when she could throw out a one liner that a few uninformed people can take and run with.

Once again, Sarah Palin displays her absolute lack of knowledge and understanding when it comes to dealing with other countries. Every country is different. Iran is not Egypt. You can't view the whole world through the lenses of "us" and "them". The political situation in Egypt and our relationship with the government of Egypt is very different from the situation in and with Iran. If this woman were ever to be elecyed President, I fear that she would consider the rest of the world as either "territories" or "servants" of the United States, and would try to impose her will on these sovereign, independant nations. The rest of the world would then tell her to go f*** off, and I wouldn't blame them one bit.

This is NOT a quality that I am looking for in a President. She will NOT be getting MY vote.

Mrs Palin , you are a LOOON !
President Obama has done what you can never do , He spoke to the Egyptian people as an adult , supporting there right to govern in a peaceful way toward CHANGE ! Yes Change , not buy the sword or the air strike but by the sheer want of a people to be in charge of there own destiny , Happy Birth Day to a half term Governor who needs to spend more time with her dysfunctional family before saving the world as if life was a game show !

Does she mean the same way that she cranks politicians by holding the Tea Party over their heads. Maybe the President should draw some targets over the heads of state of Iran. Ummm, duh. We don't OWN Iraq or any other sovereign nation. Is she insinuating that we should flex some muscle, show some umph? That's been one of our biggest problems. From where does all her power emanate? Is she still like a Governor or something? Like a cop that quit the force after a short stint and kept the badge? Shame on us for empowering her incessant and shrewish call to arms. WTF? She didn't trademark that!!

Did the Bush administration pressure Iran? Did Clinton or Bush senior? Did Reagan, or Carter? How about Ford, or Nixon? Why dont you say something intelligent, or shut the hell up. Every day you run your mouth about many things that you believe should be better. Why not keep quiet, unless you've got a master plan on how to achieve this utopia you seem to envision? Or is this utopia just for you, and a way to make more and more money, at the nations expense?

President Obama weighs all the information carefully, makes intelligent deciscions and handles all issues with diplomacy which is what a true statesman does. Unfortunately Sarah Palin seems to be lacking in all of these areas.

I have a great idea. Let us send Palin to Iran. She will drive the Iranians mad with her inane comments. The Iranians will surrender to us in no time.

"Media: ask "Will Obama Admin exert as much 'constructive' pressure on Iranian govt to change & allow freedom ~ as they just did for Egypt?"

So, NOW she thinks Obama should talk to Iran's leader?

"Pressure" on Ahmadinejad can't happen if we aren't talking to him. It'll work about as well as "pressure" on Castro has worked for...52 years now.
