Palin hires chief-of-staff

Washington (CNN) – Sarah Palin has added a veteran Republican strategist to serve as chief-of-staff for her political action committee, Sarah PAC, CNN has learned.

Michael Glassner, an attorney and longtime adviser to former Kansas senator and presidential candidate Bob Dole, has signed on to steer the former Alaska governor's political operation as she considers a possible 2012 presidential bid.

During the 2008 presidential campaign, Glassner managed vice presidential operations during John McCain's unsuccessful White House bid.

"We are happy and excited that Mike is joining our team," Sarah PAC Treasurer Tim Crawford told CNN.

Ms. Palin, do the conservative movement a big favor. Declare right now that you are not going to run in 2012 and then follow thru with your promise. You are not electable. You do not lend credibility to the conservative movement.

Shocking that someone from the Republican establishment would support Palin's bid for the 2012 Presidential election. They must know how unelectable she would be given her weak approval rating among moderates. The Republican party can't win an election if they put forward a candidate that has already alienated the key voting block.

she's clearly going to try and run, and if she doesn't get the nomination she'll run as an independent. she suffers from narcissistic personality disorder... I hope whatever John mcCain got in exchange for 'tapping' her (lmao) for Vpee was worth it to the rest of us..

My advice to Ms Palin is, save your money. She could spend every dollar that she has and she will never be President. Her story is like the proverbial Emperor who wore no clothes, no one would tell him the truth. She needs to stick with what she does best and that is making money. She is simply not qualified to be the President ot the United States.

Please don't run for President. At best you lose the nomination... at worst you win the nomination and set the GOP back 20 years. You are probably a good person, but you are the worst candidate ever. People seem to like you, but in every poll you are losing big to President Obama. If you truly want to help Republicans do something, go back to Alaska, enjoy your millions and your family, and never go on television again.

Good one. He did a remarkable job with you and McCain. And Sarah you can still dress a pig up and it's still a pig.

This woman suffers from narcissistic personality disorder its a condition characterized by an inflated sense of self-importance, need for admiration, extreme self-involvement, and lack of empathy for others. Individuals with this disorder are usually arrogantly self-assured and confident. They expect to be noticed as superior. Many highly successful individuals might be considered narcissistic. However, this disorder is only diagnosed when these behaviors become persistent and very disabling or distressing.

Sarah Palin is going to need more than a Chief of Staff! She is going to needto read up on her History, Geography, Current Events, Foriegn Policy, the Constitution, and a whole lot more.

I have never seen a politican so deficient when it comes to basic knowledge, let alone detail.

What a brilliant idea! Hire someone who worked for you when you LOST the last election!
Wouldn't it make more sense to hire someone who'd been part of a WINNING team instead?
This story is further proof of just how dumb Ms. Palin truly is.

Sarah Palin has a very low opinion of the American voters. She must be thinking: if they elected W twice, they will elect her for sure.
