Angle set to visit two early primary states

(CNN) - Sharron Angle, the long-shot Tea Party-backed candidate who almost defeated Senate Majority Leady Harry Reid in last year's midterm elections, is hitting the road this week and it looks like another election may be on her mind.

Angle will be making stops in two early and important 2012 primary states this month for viewings of a Christian movie entitled "The Genesis Code," which is described by the producers as a film that "reconciles the Biblical account of Genesis with the scientific account of the origins of the universe."

The film will premiere in South Carolina on Friday and in New Hampshire on February 25. Both states hold some of the first primaries of the 2012 presidential campaign and are critical to mounting a successful bid for the White House. Further stoking 2012 speculation, Angle attended the film's debut in Iowa last month.

The former Nevada state legislator has not ruled out a bid for the country's highest office. When asked about her political aspirations at last week's Conservative Political Action Conference, Angle told CNN: "I think I have lots of options and I'm exploring them all."

Angle's "Patriot Caucus" PAC announced plans in December to open offices in Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and Florida.

Sharron Angle has about as much of a chance of becoming president as she does of becoming head of the ACLU.

If the Republicans cannot control their nutter folks, how can we expect them to govern.

This is the same nutcase who advocated using the 2nd amendment to remove Harry Reid from office. This is the same deluded fruitcake who thinks that the Dept of Education is unconstitutional and that global warming is a conspiracy. She also supports making alcohol illegal (HELLO PROHIBITION!). She thinks we should just let Social Security go insolvent so it will collapse and go away. She thinks that Flouride in the drinking water is part of a gevrnment mind-control exercise.

    HELLO? This lady is NUTS!

Does she think that people this time around are going to believe her hate and lies. She might as well team up with Sarah, they would make a good pair.

"Sharron Angle, the long-shot Tea Party-backed candidate who almost defeated Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid"..WHAT!?! The election wasn't even close, what kind of reporting is this, elevating this fruit cake to some kind of a serious contender for any office is a joke. The only way she got any votes was by only talking to Fox No News, not one main stream media outlet and even with that her very strange views became apparent and she got wooped. Let's try to keep the nuts out of government instead of promoting them shall we.

  7. Seriously?

I guess you just can't keep the crazies out of the spotlight. This woman is delusional if she thinks she can get anywhere near the Whitehouse. She is a crackpot and should wake up and realize the "Real" American People are getting a good look at the Tea Party and any serious voter wants nothing to do with these nut jobs!!

But, heh. Put them all on the Ballot! It will only insure Obama another four years . . .

Sure why not? Everyone and their mother is "running". But none of these idiots will come close to beating Obama in 2012. So, go ahead Sharon. Run all you want.

Here we go with the evangelical lunatics of the right. If Ms. Angle is a Christian in any sort of way, how can she endorse "2nd Amendment remedies?" I don'e believe Jesus would be a member of the NRA.

I see that they couldn't keep her locked up too much longer! What a joke. Is she going to bring her second amendment remedies with her? Her own water? Any inmates she can find? You have no options you witch.
What is it with the rethugs who just can't go quietly into the night? They are as bad as Alvin green and we know he is NOT all there so that should tell you a LOT about the party of no recycled candidates. :) :)

Wouldn't it been more accurate to just identify her as "loser"?

Sharron Angle for President – I think I just threw up in my mouth a little...

The lack of intelligence on the GOP side is staggering!!! I mean, don't get me wrong, there are plenty of Republicans out there who are intelligent and would actually be a good candidate and not a total nut case. But the GOP needs to reign in these idiots, they are giving a bad name to all Republicans!!!

By the way, I'm liberal but I just find this situation too pathetic!

Hey, if God told her to run, and also told Bachmann and Palin to run, I think God has a sense of humor.

Well well well, I see Sharon Angle is taking her brand of ignorance cross country.
It's good to know that even though she lost, She remains a prime example of what the Tea Party is all about, willful ignorance, hate and intolerance.
I know Tea Party people will feel insulted that these are the words most commonly used to describe them and if that is the case, my only advice is to stop displaying those tendancies
The Tea Party is all emotion, no intelligence

Republicans, like Sharia, just need one more chance at destroying the U.S.

I hope that the Tea Party runs her as a candidate on their own ticket. You really can't call yourself a party if all of your candidates run on another party's ticket. To me, that makes you just another wing of the Republican Party! Oops,.... have I said too much?!
