Palin talks 2012, mocks Michelle Obama

Woodbury, New York (CNN) - Sarah Palin addressed a variety of issues Thursday at a gathering of business officials in Long Island, New York including her 2012 plans, first lady Michelle Obama, President Obama's proposed budget, the crisis in Egypt, and her feelings on the media.

Here's a snapshot of what she had to say:

On her 2012 ambitions:
"I am still thinking of leading this country. I am still thinking about it. I haven't made up my mind. We hired a chief of staff because Todd is getting tired of doing it for me."

When asked who else she might envision at the top of the GOP ticket Palin responded, "No one is more qualified to multi-tasking and doing all the things you need to do as a President than a woman."

She then began reciting from her resume, listing her experience as a mayor and running for Vice President.

"What I would look for in terms of character is someone who's been on the front lines, who understands how to administer, how to lead a team, how to run a business."

On Michelle Obama:
"No wonder Michelle Obama is telling people to breast feed their babies, because the price of milk is rising so high."

She then warned the dozens of reporters at her question and answer event, "That better not be the takeaway here."

On the threat from the Muslim Brotherhood:
"We have to be sure a group like the Muslim Brotherhood isn't invited in to take over," she said. "The Muslim Brotherhood believes in sharia law."

"If they're radical enough to have already spoken against liberties and freedom is this good for Egypt and their freedoms?" she also said.

Palin also criticized the Obama Administration for appearing to flip-flop on Egypt.

"There was so much confusion about where our administration was," Palin said. "I won't condemn them for adding to the confusion, but the American public does deserve to know whose side we're on."

On the media:
Asked her about a recent Gallup Poll indicating more than 50 percent of those surveyed have a negative opinion of her, Palin responded, "In a lot of those polls I get my butt kicked."

"The poll you're referring to was taken after the Tucson tragedy. I don't think I ever went through more negative press than after Tucson," she said.

"How else does the public know you except through the press? When the press reports things that have really misrepresented my record as a council member, mayor… and what you stand for and who your family is," Palin continued, pointing to her reliance on Twitter and Facebook for public communications.

"I can't rely on a liberal-leaning press to do that for you. That's why social media will be so important."

On the president's budget proposal:
President Obama's budget plan will take the country "on the road to ruin," Palin said.

"What the people of America are saying is, 'enough is enough no more status quo we don't want to continue deficit spending.'"

"Tone deaf politicians they're going to be fired and they're going to be replaced in the next election cycle if they don't pay attention," said Palin.

What exactly is the "liberal leaning press"? Any press other than FoxNews?

Why is it only Palin is afraid of her treatment by the press? I don't see the other GOP potentials running away from the press. Could it be that Palin is that only one who is too insecure to face any real scrutiny?

Palin doesn't seem to understand the public detests her because of the press accurately reporting on her rather than being her promoter like FoxNews.

She's an imbecile. I can't even believe I live in a country where someone like her gets so much attention. Shame on us.

Not too long ago, Palin took it upon herself to decide for a room full of school kids that they should have cookies for dessert (all part of her classless attempts to mock First Lady Michelle Obama).

Palin didn't ask the parents of those children whether they could have cookies, or whether any of them were allergic to any of the ingredients. She didn't get input from the parents; she just unilaterally decided that those kids should have cookies, all the while complaining about how Mrs. Obama was trying to "tell American children what to eat."

And that's the problem with Palin: She's a hyprocrite through-and-through, she has no qualms using children to further her mean-spirited political agenda, and she has no respect for other people.

She's just simply an ego on a rampage, fueled by her narcissism and desire to run away from her responsibilities first as a governor of a state and then as a mother.

    Palin = Quitter, Liar, Mooch

Look, they paid her and she went. She just rearranged the talking points and added the blast at the first lady, making sure that would be the take away by challenging the reporters not to make it the take away. So, who won? The one that got paid to recycle the one liners.

If she is complaining about food prices, does that mean she is advocating price controls? As for the budget that Obama put out, what has she done? She is just lombing bombs from the sidelines. What was her limited record as governor of one of the smaller population states?

Palin resume is as follows: Quit as governor.....Anything after that does not matter. She had a job and she Fk it up, simple..She wants to lead the country, you must be kidding. And as far a breastfeeding, Michelle Obama once again proved how she thinks about the people, children and their well being. And Palin cost, not health and not the children. Her take was simple, oh, milk is going up, let me invest and make money and than say, more tax breaks for cows.. And the media love her b/c a tard like her is so fun to mock when she tries the gown up thingy, ya betcha ya. And the budget, like she knows anything. This fool says we can't afford to spend money but wants to give money to the mega rich..This idiot does not understand how our tax codes are regressive not progressive.. She wants to lead and is thinking about it, she thinks??? Doubt it. She regurgitates..Yes, McCain and palin lost to teh sheep hurders son with a name of Barrack H. Obama. She was part of a ticket that lost to a sheep hurders son....Must be tough to take....LMAO

She's such a rude arrogant person. How could anyone think to elect her as our President! She's so hungup o the "LameStream Media", who does she think she's going to deal with every day of her presidency. A President can't hide from the media like she does now! She's a fool!

Funding she got from Washington for a bridge to NOWHERE! Yeah, that's what the American taxpayer wants. More politicians like her to throw there money on senseless, stupid projects that was not thought through completely. Bachmann is a Palin puppet after listening to her stupidity too. Get a grip girls and stay at home where you both belong. You don't have a clue here in the real world.

Bachman said on the today show she was clueless about Lady Gaga, well my take on the GOP women of Palin, Bachman and Angle are they are all clueless. On of the only ones that had a clue is Sen. Hutchinson and she is retiring. Good for her to get out before the cluelessness spreads – the way it looks, it is contagious.

""No wonder Michelle Obama is telling people to breast feed their babies, because the price of milk is rising so high."

Huh? Word salad. It seems to kinda mean something, but on further inspection it is meaningless drivel disguised as political discourse.

I think this woman's existence in the political arena is daily mockery. She can have one or two shots. It's the only way for her to stay relavant. She has no other traits that make her worth following. She couldn't complete a full term in office because it was too hard, and people think she's ready to be a president? The only trait she say has is to pout until someone pays attention to her – beyond that, no one can take her seriously because really? What does she have to back it up? Buzzwords? Folksy Rhetoric? That doesn't solve anything but one's own narcissism....

Todd Palin was a member of the Alaskan Independence party that planned a coup to susede from the nation and yes Sarah was married to him. To make my point I wouldn't trust either one of these Palins anywhere close to power, #1 they are trailor trash, #2 they are uneducated, #3 they are divisive, #4 they are both unqualified, #5 they pimp for profit, #6 they represent the idiot race and can't make a coherent sentence. The Palin's pook fun at educated people because they have none and they are too lazy to educate themselves. If Todd and Sarah had the education compared to President Obama and Michele they wouldn't take the low road.
