(CNN) - Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will be making a trans-continental trip to India in March to speak at the India Today 2011 conclave in New Delhi, Palin aide Rebecca Mansour tweeted Wednesday.
Palin, who is weighing a possible 2012 run for the Republican presidential nomination, is set to speak on March 19, delivering a keynote address on "My Vision of America." Attendees will have the opportunity to ask the 2008 vice presidential candidate questions, according to the conference program.
The conclave, organized by one of the biggest publishing groups in India, is an annual event named for the newsmagazine "India Today."
The conference attracts India's elite and covers topics that range from policy, regional diplomacy, business and economic and technology to social trends.
The 2011 roster will cover issues from "The Gender Dialogue: Can the burqua co-exist with the bikini?" to a session on "Politics and Ethics: Is honesty impossible in Indian politics?"
Other speakers and panelists include Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, feminist writer Germaine Greer, Indian actor Aamir Khan and Egyptian opposition leader and Nobel Peace laureate Mohamed ElBaradei.
Palin aides are not saying yet whether there will be additional overseas stops built around the India trip.

Maybe they can keep her. Please.
CNN keeps this woman's name alive. She needs to thank CNN for it's continued support of her pointless political actions. One thing I do know is that if she comes into power(Something some people in CNN are wishing for badly) ,she will deal with the Katie Courics of this world and CNN itself
Please please please keep her.
Who pays for his non-sense? For McClains sake this lady better be sleeping with him. Because without his genious insight she would be a nothing
maybe they will understand her when she talks only people who do hear dont have a full set of teeth
When I read the teaser that "Palin makes surprise trip" I thought it was to the library. That would be a surprise.
Damn, for a minute there I thought she was leaving the country for good.
Who pays for this womens non-sense? India? Give me a break.
Way to go, show the rest of the world just how dumb and gredy you really are. With any luck, they will keep her over there.
Whoa! Here comes comedy!
She probably thought the invitation said "Indiana".
I wonder if the press will be invited as "attendees."
You know she's getting paid BIG to do this or she wouldn't travel, and she CERTAINLY wouldn't take questions in an uncontrolled environment.
Her vision of America – Obama sucks.
Can she see India from her back patio also?
Keep talking Palin your approval rating's will be at 5% soon and then maybe , just maybe you will get a clue and figure out that no one cares what you think !
I'm sure she's making a pile of money from those outsourcing companies that are stealing our American jobs. She's lately so concerned about Libya. I think she should go to Libya and get the Tea Party started there. Maybe she could just stay. In Libya.
THANK YOU JESUS, maybe this idiot will STAY IN INDIA!!! India is welcome to her, Americans are GLAD to get rid of her.
One problem: she will have to read notes on her hand again.
The topic, "Politics and Ethics: Is honesty possible in Indian politics", requires $arah to have a basic understanding of ethics. But questions remain: Do they know about Sarah's ethics violations? Are they paying for her wardrobe? Is Bristol, Willow, and Piper invited, and can they get new outfits? Does "new outfit" include a new purse? What about Tawd? Can he fly first class? And can Sarah have bendy straws in India? All legitmate questions for the Palin's to ponder before the trip.
Are you sure she doesn't have a ticket to Indiana? It's an easy mistake to make.
We have enough joker polititians in India. We dont need an imported one. Keep her where she is.
Wonderful. She usually embarasses this country right here at home and now she's taking her show on the road. Maybe she will like the place enough that she will never come home.
My neighbor's going to Costco tomorrow. That's more news worthy than a Palin trip.
does she even know where India is?
Why do we hear more from this media whore than the actual Vice President?
Please Sara, don't speak for me
Are you sure she doesn't think she's going to Indiana?
