(CNN) - Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will be making a trans-continental trip to India in March to speak at the India Today 2011 conclave in New Delhi, Palin aide Rebecca Mansour tweeted Wednesday.
Palin, who is weighing a possible 2012 run for the Republican presidential nomination, is set to speak on March 19, delivering a keynote address on "My Vision of America." Attendees will have the opportunity to ask the 2008 vice presidential candidate questions, according to the conference program.
The conclave, organized by one of the biggest publishing groups in India, is an annual event named for the newsmagazine "India Today."
The conference attracts India's elite and covers topics that range from policy, regional diplomacy, business and economic and technology to social trends.
The 2011 roster will cover issues from "The Gender Dialogue: Can the burqua co-exist with the bikini?" to a session on "Politics and Ethics: Is honesty impossible in Indian politics?"
Other speakers and panelists include Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, feminist writer Germaine Greer, Indian actor Aamir Khan and Egyptian opposition leader and Nobel Peace laureate Mohamed ElBaradei.
Palin aides are not saying yet whether there will be additional overseas stops built around the India trip.

Maybe its a one way ticket. But wherever she might be, CNN would always find something for the daily blurb about her. I guess nothing really important is going on around the world.
Well, she wants to show that she has international presence, I guess. Right? Well, she DOES have international presence, from what I gathered from a short trip to Paris that I took last month. I asked people about her when I was out and about in the fair City of Lights, and the responses I got ranged from shocked and baffled looks on their faces, to disapproving nods, sighs of frustration, and "I just don't understand how Americans can even take someone like her seriously" comments. Hey, I just asked "what do you folks out here think of Sarah Palin?" I don't think I lead anyone with that question.
And I thought the answer to "where's she going NEXT" would be Alaska....THAT WOULD BE A SHOCKER!!!
A day without a post about this person would be a day better spent...what a waste.

Sarah Palin is NOT a good representative of the United States. She is too polarizing with her remarks taking every opportunity to slam the President. If she would only try to find something positive to say she would be so much more impressive. Stay home Sarah and take care of your family. (Remember that's a Republican value, right?)
