(CNN) - Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said Thursday that he is taking the first official step toward a presidential bid.
"We will look at this very seriously and we will very methodically lay out the framework of what we'll do next," Gingrich said during a news conference in Atlanta, Georgia.
I remember he did a very good job for President Clinton as Speaker of the House in the 90's, Gingrich did an excellent job with the budget, the economy, which gave President Clinton a great 2nd term and we were all very happy with Clinton, so I don't see why he wouldn't make a good president.
John Edwards did something just as bad as Newt did and John's politcal career is OVER as well as it should be. I think that Newt's should be over also. But I will admit it 's going to be fun in the primaries watching these 2012ers rip each other apart as they claim who is best for the position of RNC nominee. They have to go after each other before they go after Obama and that will be worth watching.
This is the same guy who married his high school geometry teacher. Then cheated on her while she was in the hostpital with cancer. Then after the divorce married the lady he was cheating on his first wife with. Then he started cheating on wife #2 with the young intern who would eventually become wife #3 (although shes like 25 years younger than him). Ironically this last was going on while he was railing against Clinton for the Lewinsky affair (Hypocrisy, anyone?).
This guy is as sleazy a philandering hyporcrit as ever 'graced' the halls of congress. All you good, upright, righteous republicans should be shooing this guy to the door – not throwing roses at his feet!
Newt, you are delusional. You should stick with your job at Fox. Save your money the exploratory committee will only tell you what you want to hear just to get your money. Your day has come and gone, the media and your fellow Republicans will have a field day rehashing your past.
